Everybody was saying this game is determined by Portis and he did nothing is it. So what was it.

No. The skins played a completely different offensive game then they have all year. The threw the ball 55 times which is unheard of for a gibbs coached team. Portis didn't suck it up and our run D didn't dominate. The skins simply did the unexpected with their gameplan.

For the kabillionth time - ROY WILLIAMS CAN'T COVER!!!

That's what ails the defense. The D can stop the run, and the pass, as long as it does not get thrown Williams' way. Teams essentially try to spread it around on us and find they can't usually. But they're willing to try and risk falling into that third-and-long hole because they know if they do they can always chuck one Roy Williams' was for a first down completion.

No, Phillips knew the only way that Washington wins this game is if they control the clock and keep Dallas off the field. Phillips dared Washinton to put up 30 points, knowing that a shootout favored Dallas. A win was all that mattered. This isn't college ball where style points matter.

A good many of their completions were thanks to the LBs playing shallow and run first. Everyone knew that sooner or later bad things would happen if Washington threw the ball around.

The only thing that made me PO'd the entire game was Dallas's last two possessions. I thought Garrett had the cajones to go for the jugular. Dallas could have put up 40 if they needed to.

I am really tired of people like you dogging on him saying that we need to trade him, he sucks and we wasted a draft pick. You know what he is one of the hardest hitters in the game and we didn't pick him because of his cover skills. We got him because the man can hit. So to all of you people complaining about Roy. Grow some Balls, stop complaing, and watch the freakin game.
