Positive news if we beat Giants and Bucs and Panthers beat Philly

Assuming the Giants and Eagles win their other games if my calculations are correct the worst we would be is a game and a half behind the division leader with the tie breaker

Giants would be 6-4
Eagles 5-4
Cowboys 4-5

Giants would be on their bye on 22nd. Romo returns for dolphins and we would have chance to be one game back with win and 6 to play. This also assumes Giants beat New England which won't happen.

This team just needs to win games. As many as possible..maybe even 3 of the next 4 as dauntless as that might look. Im not counting on giants/eagles losing games you expect them to. Wouldnt really even surprise me if the Eagles win this weekend.

This isn't as much good news as I was expecting when I opened the thread.

The division picture isn't going to be in focus until Thanksgiving, at the earliest. Just relax and hope for a stretch of decent games here where everybody seems to be playing on the same page, stays healthy, and the only thing holding us back is sub-par (or maybe par, given how bad off some teams are) QB play.

Most likely all 4 teams will be within 2 games of each other. With 7 to go and Tony back, I still like our chances. I say nothing will be decised in the next 4 weeks.
Unless we lose 3 or 4, and either giants or Eagles win 3 or 4. I don't see that happening.
Eagles seem to have an easier schedule than the Giants, so we must beat them. And hope they drop another game or 2 in the next 5 games.
Key is beating both the Giants and Eagles to stay in it.

If Eagles lose to TB, they could be toast and may implode. It must start by beating the Giants.

If we're within a game/game-and-a-half when Romo returns then the division is ours. If we're 3 back, we're done. Can't depend on Romo to be a miracle man. We need at least 2 wins with Cassell.

We beat the Giants in a game we should've lost. We also beat the Eagles in a game the offense should've lost. We're lucky we got 2 wins the first 2 games.
