1. Tony Romo's development.
2. Julius Jones's can be next year's Gore.
3. Jason Witten will get better.
4. This year's draft. He just coached in the Senior Bowl.

Negatives
1. Jerry Jones undermining the coach. He's like the grandfather that spoils his grandchildren. He doesn't mean harm but that's what he does.
2. Jerry Jones influencing the draft.
3. Jerry Jones meddling.

Since BP didn't quit next year when we could have had Jeff Fisher, Cower or Lovie Smith, Norv seems like the best choice as long as we get a DC that can light a fire under this young defense.

Frank Gore is Frank Gore because he's Frank Gore -- not Norv Turner.

I will add:
5-He's definitely a player's coach
6-A close friend of JG
7-He is a cowboy for God's sake

You're not giving Norv is proper credit, everywhere he's gone the offenses have produced...

This is the absolute truth. I see all kinds of people trying to credit Turner with Gore when they havent even seen Gore play before he got to the gay bay.

Their is nothing positive about hiring turner... unless all you care about is player stats and not the team record.

I appreciate your honest input in this matter. I still cant believe we have people trying to defend what others have seen with their own eys.

Yeah, because its not like San Fran and Washington were exactly great teams when Turner took over.

Right?

???

He is also a Commander, Raider, Dolphin, Charger and 49er.

I think he actually spent three times more time with the Commanders than he did the cowboys.

But just because he is a cowboy is a reason?

Yeah. How much coaching you gonna give a back. Just remember, Gore was ahead of McGahee and Portis at Miami before his knees went to hell in a handbasket. I don't think Norv Turner had much to do with Gore being Gore.

he's just good for the team because he's good for romo. and wether people like it or not, this team will only go as far as romo will take them.period

i think we have forgotten how important a QB is to a team since it hasnt had one in a decade. dallas has one now, and taking care of him is best

Gore averaged almost 1/2 yard per carry more under Turner than the previous year. Running backs have always done well in Turner's schemes.

Yeah, that couldn't possibly be because 2005 was his rookie season and he only started 1 game.

The 49er 2006 offense averaged one yard per carry better than in 2005
