Round 1
1. Rams - Carson Wentz QB North Dakota State
2. Browns - Jared Goff QB Cal
3. Chargers - Laremy Tunsil T Ole Miss
4. Jalen Ramsey DB Florida State
Ramsey would be this teams RCB with Scandrick manning the left side and Claiborne coming in in nickle downs while Scandrick moves to the slot. Think this would also end Carr's time in Dallas.

Round 2
Noah Spence DE E Kentucky
Allows Lawrence to stay on the left side. Adding a Dynamic pass rusher to right side.

Round 3
Christian Hackenberg QB Penn State
Pro Style offense was great for him. A couple yrs under Romo and it'll be his time

I could live with this.
I'm hoping trade back with the Titans.
But....
The Titans need a lot of help and trading back into the 4th slot does not make sense for them.
Unless they are totally taken by one player at that much lower slot.....

Wouldn't be interested in Hackenberg at all. I would like to see Carr gone and hope Ramsey is the right guy. Not sure how much I like Spence....a lot of the draftniks have backed off a bit on him as being a great pass rusher. Not as explosive as initially thought.

You had me till 3. If the first two picks came out that way I'd be happy with it. Hack is a wasted pick and not worth the roster spot. Rather go DT, WR or RB there. If I was going to pick a QB just to be picking a QB I'd rather wait till later and take Allen. Don't think he will ever be a star QB but could be a good backup for many years. At least he got better every year he played

Hackenberg was robbed of his college career by sanctions and moving to a spread offense with very little talent. Anybody that watched apenn stategame expected him to be running for his life every playa d that's exactly what happened. He stayed put at pennstate instead of jumping ship like everybody else. Gotta admire that about him

I'd love it if the draft went this way. Next years draft seems like it'll be the better one to get a running back anyway.

I agree with that. I respect him for sticking it out and he had a terrible oline. But he reminds me of david Carr. Carr was a good QB who was destroyed by rushing him to play and not protecting him. Carr developed a habit of looking at the rush and he never got over it. I think the same thing has happened with hack. He had talent but I think he broken and may never be fixed.

As "they" say, if you've done it before you can do it again.

Replace Hackenberg with a WR - Cooper, Miller, Shepard, Boyd, Thomas - and I'd love this draft.

I love the idea of this, honestly. I think Claiborne has breakout potential in this scenario. With Scandrick in the slot, and assuming Ramsey is as advertised, we can be more selective with Claiborne's matchups.

Do you like Christian Hackenberg QB Penn State better than Dak Prescott ?

I would think that they would either move back to the first round and take Lynch or Cook. But I would take Elliott at 4. Ramsey will not make the DB any better IMO. He wasn't a playmaker in college and he won't become one in the pros. Too many are enamored with his athleticism. Bosa I wouldn't take before the 10th pick.

This just isn't true. Watching him play, he popped off the screen as an obvious playmaker. Interceptions are not the only measure of a DB making plays. He played a ton of jam-and-trail coverage last year, which didn't put him in position to pick many balls. He still defended 24 passes over his last 2 seasons. If he played in another scheme, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

ETA: Ramsey had 80 tackles, 10 TFL(!!), 3 sacks, 2 picks, 12 passes defended, and 3 forced fumbles in 2014. That's making plays. He just played a different role last season.

I think even if we draft Ramsey and play him at CB we keep Carr around one more year (unless of course we sign another CB we like). CB is a hard position to learn in the NFL (honestly outside of o-line and special teams I think they all are lol). With Scandy coming off of injury and Jones most likely moving to FS, I would hate to think of starting Mo and a rookie at CB... though I do like the draft.

P.S. I am not saying o-line is easy to learn, but that is the one position where rookies do tend to see some decent amounts of success at the NFL level

10 tackles for a loss is just crazy for a CB... in a lot of ways he seems to be the anti Mo... which is a good thing! lol
