First off, congratulations on the win. Way to bounce back.
Second, I thought if you win and Carolina loses next week that you're in even if the Commanders win. That would put three NFC East teams in the playoffs. Sadly for you only the Commanders will advance, but it'll be pretty cool nonetheless

Hey, if we're 10-6 and miss the playoffs it's our own faults. We had a chance to seal the deal and came up small. We have no one to blame except ourselves.

Can't really come back at you, you guys finally got off the schnide this year.
But even without those two TD passes we had about 6 or 7 opportunities to put that game away and didn't do it. MIssed field goal, holding penalty, 2 yard pass on 3rd and 3 etc, etc.
Our own fault, nothing that you guys really did, at least in the first game.
And that looks like the difference this season.

I think all fans here respect Henry.
Why?
He posted here when you all were owned by us. He didn't talk smack before the game, he was simply respectful. He came by after each loss and gave us congratulations.
He has every right to crow and rub it in.....And if he did, I would simply sit and take it.
But right now, it seems that I'm seeing more and more Commanders fans posting here. Fans that didn't have the guts to show up before the season started.
I guess it rubs me the wrong way......But, it matters not....Your team won big and got the sweep, I guess you have the upper hand no matter what.
But at least I can still gripe about it....you can't take that away....

Yep, a product of the win your division system.
I believe the 2003 Miami Dolphins were the first team to go 10-6 and miss the playoffs.
I know they were PO'ed because they destroyed us on Thanksgiving and we made the playoffs that year.

Well, I don't really post here that much. Just when the mood strikes me. I've been pretty cordial and don't really think my posting now or anytime I've posted this season is out of order. If it is, I apologize. Maybe I should post more often. Besides, Henry is a high standard to live up to. Not fair to compare me to him.

Irrelevant if Cortez hits a 41 yard field goal.
Or Flo doesn't hold on a 17 yard completion to Key that would have iced the game.
Or numerous other plays I'm too lazy to go back and look up now, but are pretty well documented.
Dallas lost that game before Moss and Brunell hit those TDs. And *most* of it was our own doing.
