Should we make a change at starting left Tackle? Is it time for McQuistan to start?

Watkins is a Rookie. He is learning and he is going to make some mistakes. If you want a young FS to come in and play, then you have to live with the mistakes youth will bring. It will eventually make him better. Roy, on the other hand, that's different. Incredibly bad angle to the long TD pass. Que the Roy is great in coverage faction in 5.....4......3......2........

What about Davis and Watkins at safety, just a thought;)
Watkins was beat twice ugly by Basket and on the flea flicker. But he's young... I think he's doing a good job...he'll learn to not bite (hopefully)

When a DT gets 3 tackles we need to ask who on the INTERIOR was not up to snuff.

"A change at QB will fix the left tackle position."

Really? So Romo starting will elimate Flo's false-start penalties, or how about all the holding calls thrown his way? Now I did not see any of those yesterday (mostly because he never got his hands on anybody to hold), but we all know they will occur in the games to come. So why not let a younger inexperienced player who is a rookie make these same mental mistakes as he grows into the job, and hopefully learns? That is what everyone is saying about starting a young inxperienced QB right?

Speed rushers right now eat Flo's lunch breakfast and dinner. Either take a chance with Mcquistan or put a TE there to help him out.

The bottom line is that Bledsoe makes the line look worse than it really is, so a change for a more mobile QB should at leas give the impression of better line play.

I understand that, this thread was mostly for the "lay everything at Bledsoe's feet" crowd howling for a change. Why not try a different change to get more production out of our QB, that may not mean the end of the season, before switching QB's?

I don´t care how good your line is, when teams blitz, there will be pressure on the QB, and he has to be able to handle it, Bledsoe can´t.

No, that's not what everyone is saying about the QB position. I suspect many people believe Flo's play may improve as the year goes on, he was playing very well last yr until the injury. In the case of the QB, 13 yrs have shown us that Bledsoe is a pedestrian QB and the past 3-4 yrs he's been .500. Looks great one game, looks horrible the next when it really counts. It's a bogus argument to say Romo is "young inexperienced". He's 26 yrs old and has been in the system for 4 yrs. He may not be the answer if but we'll never know if he doesn't play. To keep him off the field because he's inexperienced is a self-fulfilling argument.....don't let him play then claim he shouldn't play because he's inexperienced. Maybe we should consider what last years SB winning coach did with Rothlesberger (when he was a rookie!)......benched a mediocre vet and gave him a chance to help the team get better.

Valid question, my opinion is not just yet but hopefully later this year. If you're advocating this, I'll have to call you a hypocrite. You call Romo inexperienced after 4 yrs in the system, McQ is 4 months here and didn't even play 4 yrs in college.

Just remember this: "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it". I have never been a Bledsoe guy, and I don't see myself becoming one, but I sure am not ready to throw Romo out there after 4 games. And by the way they all "count" that is why we are 2-2 and not simply 0-2.

Simple answer. No.
The line had a tough time but it was the O unit that had a bad game. When seven or eight guys are coming it is the other guys that have to step in (TE's and RB's), they shoulder some of the blame here with all their missed blocks....

Flo is fine...

I am not 100% confident that Romo is the answer but know we have to make a change to get to and/or win the SB. Bledsoe is not an unknown after 13 yrs. Romo has passed every test he's been given the opportunity to take, even if there haven't been many. We're stuck in limbo with an erratic veteran and need to fish or cut bait with Romo.

This roster is good enough to win it all this year but not with Bledsoe, that's the frustrating thing to me.

Romo can be either good bad or somewhere in the middle. BP will not make the change for at least 3 more games- DB has that long to shape up.

Flo hasn't played a full game {mentally} since he was first signed ---sent him packing and play someone with at least some desire
