still rather have Norwood in the 5

I also like Norwood. I did this draft with a little bit of Jerry mentality behind it. I have a really hard time believing we don't take an offensive skill position player in the top 3 rounds. Just not in Jerry's nature. Could be a RB also if Linehan is really in control, he likes to have 2 backs and I'm not sure what the organization thinks of Dunbar after fumbles and injuries last year.

yea but why in the first 3 rds - IMO WR'S are about the same as RB'S there are a dime a dozen

I know I will be eaten alive for that statement

who were R Wilsons wr's G Tate and who ?????????

it was the D that won them the SB

I'm not disagreeing with you at all. I try to do mocks with players I like but at the same time trying to keep it somewhat realistic to what I think the cowboys would do.

If it were 100% my mock it would be something along the lines of Donald, Martin, Terrence Brooks, Jordan Tripp in rounds 1-4 with best G/T (Trai Turner maybe) in the 5th. But like I said, Jerry is like a kid in a candy store when it comes to offensive skill position players. Especially with how deep this draft is with underclassmen, there's bound to be a flashy WR/RB that catches his eye in rounds 2 or 3.

Exum is a project but he's a project that I would be willing to take a chance on. His size and everything else is reminiscent of Kam Chancellor, another Hokie.

Exum could come in and replace McCray, Matt Johnson, and Sterling Moore all in one.

Best case scenario he starts at SS/FS or CB for us in the future. Worst-case scenario he's a perennial rotational contributor.

He's fast becoming my pet cat DB in the draft, and could supplant Jimmie Ward by draft day.
