1. Re-sign Mo 5/25m 10mG
2. Re-sign Hayden 2 years/5.5m 2mG
3. Re-sign Ro 1 yr/6m 2mG
4. Sign Pass Rusher... anyone's guess is as good as mine.

Re-sign the majority of the RFA.
Offer Leary at right of first refusal. --accept a future 3/4 in trade and let him make his money.

Draft:
1. Ramsay --I think Goff, Tunsil and Wentz go top 3.
2. DT Sheldon Rankins. --our kind of guy at 6'1" and just under 300.
3. RB Kenneth Dixon
4. WR Kenny Lawler
4comp: LB Scooby Wright

Hate all the resigns but I am sure we'll be overpaying for corner play somehow. I am very meh on McClain and would not throw any guarenteed money at him. He gets knicked up too much and I dont believe in his commitment. FAs: Like Rubin and you can have the rest. As for your draft, I would do cart wheels but I think 1 and 2 end up Goff and Nkemdiche.

Dallas will not have Nkemdiche on their board at all. He's a box guy all day. Very Joe Randle with his dry snitching and making stupid decisions.

Re-Sign:

Brandon Carr, CB - 3y, $15M ($10M GTD)
Morris Claiborne, CB - 5y, $25M ($10M GTD)
Rolando McClain, LB - 3y, $12M ($4M GTD)

Free Agency:

Robert Griffin III, QB - 3y, $18M ($10M GTD)
Ahtyba Rubin, DT - 3y, $12M ($3.5M GTD)
DeMeco Ryans, LB - 2y, $6M ($2M GTD)

Draft:

1. Carson Wentz, QB
2. Josh Doctson, WR
3. Kenneth Dixon, RB
4. Hassan Ridgeway, DT

.

.

.

Tear it up.

Agree with everything except RGIII and Doctson in the 2nd round. I would be looking for a pass rushing DT.

I would too. But I don't think the Cowboys would -- at least not with what these guys look like.

In virtually every mock it seems the value for a versatile, quick DT is perfect at 34.
Not sure if it happens or not but it looks like the most reasonable guesstimate for Dallas there.
We love DL depth and there's no value for DE.

If thats all they do for defense there's no chance at a sb run this season.

I like it a lot...keeping the secondary in tact...a future franchise quarterback, and then both a real #2 wide receiver and a good but youthful running back...I already know that the rest of that draft's direction would be very defensive intensive, except for a center maybe.

I would have gone in the neighborhood of $2-4 million a season for Morris Claiborne.

DE is still the question although...as pass rush has been declared war upon.

We love 3T depth. We love Nick Hayden alone at 1T, apparently.

2. Re-sign Hayden 2 years/5.5m 2mG

I don't often have issues with your posts JT, but this one about made me fall out of my office chair.

No way on God's green earth do I want to see the guy back for one– not to mention 2! And at that cost!

No, not a guy that hasn't had a single sack like 5 years... Literally, 5 years. Not one.

And it's not like he's some kind of human-block-absorber. Instead of the "Golden Cock" he should be called the "Dirt Pile" because he gets bulldozed off the line of scrimmage on every play.

He's 30, he's been bad for years... It's well past time to move on.

I just think Rod M. disagrees with you. I think we'll see a lot of short contracts tied to one final year for this coaching staff. Hayden makes sense as a two year deal that can easily become one.

Hayden isn't very good but he hasn't been beaten out. And that price is pretty cheap. Basically a 1 year 2m deal for a starter.

He hasn't been beaten only because T. McL has been hurt and they simply haven't brought in anyone via the draft or free agency.

Didn't Hayden get a 1 year deal for slightly above the vet minimum last year? I don't think he did anything to merit more than that. It could be argued he didn't do enough to even merit the vet minimum he was paid...

Love the first 3 picks. Doctson is my #1 target at 34. Dixon is my pet cat
