1) after originally being giddy about the 1st team offense, I found out Jax hardly played any starters (1 or 2)...our offense played well, but did what they should do against backup players...Bledsoe did show though that he is far and away the only QB on this team that can play right now..if we lose him we basically have no shot

2) Romo was very so-so and left me thinking that Bledsoe definitely has to start 16 games for us to have any shot at the playoffs...even when most of our starters were in the game, Romo didnt look very good and reminded me alot more of Jason Garrett or Clint Stoerner than any potential answer as a starting QB...Henson is what he is right now, but I definitely think long term he offers alot more than Romo...

3) OL was the best its been all preseason, starters and reserves

4) I cant see how they could possibly cut Anthony Thomas

5) Lynn Scott has used up his 9 lives with this franchise I think...

6) I guess Terrance Newman gave up a TD, but it sure looked like there was an awful lot of contact from their WR before he caught the ball...I was reading some posts elsewhere and Newman was basically being dumped on again by some really stupid fans, some suggesting he was truly awful and a total waste of a 1st rd pick...all because he gave up a TD in a meaningless preseason game where it really looked like the guy he was covering got away with murder...Newman's had a terrific preseason and TC and will likely be a probowler this yr if healthy

7) DeMarcus Ware, Marcus Spears, Kevin Burnett...yeah, these guys are gonna be pretty damn good...and to think we got them all in the same draft...I figure Marcus Spears is gonna really be 100% in another 3 or 4 weeks and Kenyon Coleman's stay in the starting lineup is going to be very brief

8) Patrick Crayton is probably wondering why we're interested in Peerless Price...I certainly wouldnt blame him

9) I'll say this again (as I have been saying for awhile now)...Bruce DeHaven is a lousy special teams coach...we are going to lose a game or two this yr we should have won if this truly God-awful play continues...that one play where the guy botched the short kick off, saw the ball bounce away several yards (looked like at least 5-7)and still managed to run 40 yards or so was just ridiculous

10) its preseason, but that was some really AWFUL freaking officiating...doesnt take a lip reader to see what Parcells told that one official

Yeah, Jax played it close to the vest, but if you look at the numbers the running game put up throughout preseason (I started a thread on this subject), you can't help but be impressed...

The good news is that Bledsoe is generally pretty durable, so we can hope that he'll play most if not all of this season... and if he's only hurt for a game or so, I wouldn't mind having another Jason Garrett waitin' in the wings... I'm a LITTLE nervous about this position, but not panic-stricken...

3) OL was the best its been all preseason, starters and reserves

Marco Rivera makes a BIIIIIG difference...

4) I cant see how they could possibly cut Anthony Thomas

They can't, no matter how good Tyson Thompson has looked... he's their sledgehammer for short yardage and goal line situations, and their veteran to step in if (God forbid) Julius should have to miss extended time...

5) Lynn Scott has used up his 9 lives with this franchise I think...

It'll be right interesting to see which way Parcells goes with this one... I have a hunch that for whatever reason, Lynn is a Parcells favorite...

EVERY cornerback gets beat some, even the great ones... you're completely right, on balance he and Henry have had terrific preseasons...

Agree with everything you say here... then again, I haven't disagreed with much else you've said to this point, have I?? :D

8) Patrick Crayton is probably wondering why we're interested in Peerless Price...I certainly wouldnt blame him

If he is, he only needs to remind himself of what happened to the offense when Terry Glenn got hurt last year... before this season is over, Crayton will make his mark on the team...
