How often do you hear Metallica, AC/DC, Ozzy, GnR, and Pantera.

Metallica is very mainstream now. Let them play Enter Sandman, For Whom the Bell Tolls and Master of Puppets and both old and young farts will know the songs.

That not for a national audience of a game, and it would be for small clips on those ads. Id be down with it, but no way. That song it too hard for avg joe and his wife.

The Super Bowl has become about the halftime "performance" and the million $ commercials more so than the actual football game. They seem more concerned with entertaining the people watching who don't normally watch football than the ones that do. Its sickening as someone who actually just wants to watch the DAMN GAME, LOL.
Halftime is the time to get off the sofa or out of the lazy boy and walk around. Step a2ay from the tv time. I never watch these ridiculous, over the top halftime shows. Who cares. Im there for the game. Which seems to put me in the minority now. Its crazy.
