The Super Bowl is a prime time event that draws a ton of non-football fans to watch. Hardcore football fans may not watch but the average Tom, Dick, and Mary that shows up to your house will watch it as everyone mingles in the background.

The Super Bowl has become about the halftime "performance" and the million $ commercials more so than the actual football game. They seem more concerned with entertaining the people watching who don't normally watch football than the ones that do. Its sickening as someone who actually just wants to watch the DAMN GAME, LOL.
Halftime is the time to get off the sofa or out of the lazy boy and walk around. Step a2ay from the tv time. I never watch these ridiculous, over the top halftime shows. Who cares. Im there for the game. Which seems to put me in the minority now. Its crazy.

We always have people over for the SB. You cant turn up the volume, because my wife would be all over me, as it is a party, after all. But ill be damn, the second halftime hits...... shhhhhhhhhh, turn up the TV.

Yes, they ACTUALLY had some talent and some good songs. Im with you. We used to have REAL artists like Led Zepp, Queen, Deep Purple, etc. Look at all the garbage, untalented hacks now. Heres an idea - have a program for all the talentless hacks who call themselves musicians and artists now. All the garbage that passes for music now. All that lame crap. Don't bother to put a football game in the middle of all of it- just have a horrible show for all the morons to watch all the idiots out now.
