Just explained to you it's that way right now because that's where our talent is also last time I checked everyone calls this NFL a passing league and offensive league I would imagine it's definitely Always going to be slanted on most teams that are not going through the cycle of having a bunch of rookies on the offensive side of the ball..

Go ahead be hard headed but unless you give me a 32 team snapshot over the last 10 years on what money they spent on the cap on offense versus defense you have no argument because you're just using the Cowboys and again it fluctuates by rookie contracts versus superstars who are up for deals and who pays who on what side of the ball it will always fluctuate....

I'm done with this you think it's just Jerry and I'm telling you there's a lot of teams doing the same thing depending on what cycle they're in that's the truth that's actually a fact and you don't want to hear about it and by the way as you think Pickens is a done deal or even Williams you just forgot how we lost Parsons last year negotiations can fall apart that is not 100% those two dudes are staying here I say one's not going to be here next year...


Cowboys do need money they do need assets they have that in George Pickens and I've been saying this all year They're gonna franchise tag him they're gonna listen to the offers that are being made they possibly will match them if they're not ridiculous but if they're ridiculous they're gonna take that first round pick and run because then they have 30 million to spend somewhere else and they'll have a rookie receiver along with a guy like Flournoy and they'll be just fine.

Williams he could be an easier sign if he doesn't get hard headed this man doesn't deserve a penny over 8 million his sport track says 6.7 million is his Price point so if the Cowboys can hit the seven to eight million two years guaranteed.

It's a power back that has a likes to bang likes to be physical and I've seen this dude more than once this year already get up slow even on a block it looked like he knocked himself out of breath those guys like Ezekiel Elliott they go down quick off the Cliff the Cowboys know all this they also know that they're blocking schemes are better than their passing schemes literally the offensive line blocks way better than they pass block..

Believe they think they can do the same thing they just had an 1100 yard back in Enrico they let him go now they have another back that might get around 1300 yards he's great but they also can do this again with the rookies from last draft and another free agent this year because I believe some of this is more about the scheme than it is about the player so they don't need to overpay for Williams if he demands too much I'm not that worried about it 'cause I'm sitting here right now looking at a sub 500 team that you can't sell me that George Pickens and Williams needs to be back more than we need that money and resources to build the defense that's your argument right now anyway that we should let them go if they want too much money...


People around here sure have a love affair with George Pickens We needed him most the last two games and he's not been helping this team whether it's his fault or not it doesn't matter that shows you enough data and you take 2023 into account where we just had CD Lamb and he had a record year he and Prescott can do this without a $35 million second receiver and again I already showed you the number I like the way we pass block I like Adams and Riley and the way they were marrying the pass at the run you don't have to have Williams back you guys are just some are confused hypocrites I mean hey we need to sign these two guys oh we're paying too much to the offense which is it?


So my point is they need to take a serious look at not signing both those guys as much as they could use their talent it did not carry us to where we needed to this year and now you want to pay them more pay more to our offense even though we need to help our defense we need to help our I don't know get a tackle I'd rather pay eight or $9 million to a left tackle Then a running back..

I'd rather draft a future WR2 and elevate Flournoy Bring in a cheaper free agent than George Pickens i'm sorry we just saw the results that it did not happen when we needed it the most the dynamic duo was not dynamic lamb has been the only consistent player on this team outside of a couple of bad games with drops he's always good for 100 yards if he's healthy.....
