I'm with the Boise dude, I think I would rather see Moore than Cassel myself, but thats never gonna happen!

The good news is he is probably not going to make an incredibly bad trade before the dead line.

No Dez, I consider turning to Cassell.
If Dez is ready to return, I stick with Weeden rather than starting over with another subpar backup QB. If the offense with Dez struggles under Weeden, I make the change at halftime in hopes of a spark.

I don't think Weeden is the answer to what ails us, but I'm probably in the minority that believes the absence of a legitimate WR other than Dez is the real problem with this offense. I think the number of teams where TWill could even be a contributor is single digits. Before I make a move to a guy like Cassell who couldn't win a backup job in Buffalo, I want to see the current offense when Dez returns....if he returns in two weeks.

Run what offense? Anyone can get in there and dump it off to the RB, if that's the extent of the passing offense.

Exactly.

Those worrying about who is actually taking the snaps isn't even smart enough to take a good look at what we are doing offensively and understand that it does not matter.

The only solution to this is Romo. And he is not returning for a while.

I dunno if you're Dallas how you can keep trotting out a guy who hasn't won a game as a starter. Cassell will be our qb for the Giants

In a way I think it might favor Cowboys if Cassel doesn't fully know the play book. Be little unpredictable.

All five pages of our awful playbook?

I think a QB could come off the street and draw plays in the dirt better than what has been done the last few weeks.

It has been a big fat conservative blend of nothing.

Who cares if Cassel knows the offense. It's not like our offense creates big plays by design.

Most of all the bigs plays happen because of Romo saying "the hell with this " and winging it. Play Cassel and CMike and let see what they can do.

If I can figure out how to stop this offense, then that's bad. Take away Witten, close down the running lanes, and the offense completely shuts down. Teams are going to continue doing to do that over and over.

Also, why is it only defensive players taking responsibility for the loss in those tweets? Defense played as well as they could against the Patriots. In order for us to have had a defensive win, we'd have to have held the Patriots to 3 points unless we got a ton of turnovers, which wasn't going to happen.

Exactly. Let's not act like we're running some complex, revolutionary offense. We're about as basic as you can get right now.

I have seen 11 yr olds playing pee wee football running more sophisticated offenses that what we are doing...............its just embarrassing.

Belicheck actually looked bored on the sideline today playing a chess game with our clueless coaching staff.
