I am speaking out of both sides of my mouth here. Because while I think you have a chance in every game you enter, in reality I saw no hope going into yesterday. After the fact, that was about as easy as a win that a visiting team can have. Sure Brady got sacked 5 times in the first half, but if you take that away, it was a cake walk for the Pats and they literally could have named their score.
My problem was that gameplan yesterday was a max of a 13-16 point offensive total. I was hoping the team would show urgency as the season continues down the drain. There was nothing unique or different with the offense. Playing the Patriots you know you will need to score at least 28 points to beat them. Although with the gameplan, it didn't seem there was no way we would get close to that point total. Now our skill position players are replacement level, but we have all known that. We need to try to find a way to have success doing it with mirrors or surprise attack. It looked like we thought we could role the ball out there and expect us to get the results we get with our all pro QB and WR.
