hey guys, as you already know by now tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 11 am Est....I just read that single game tickets for the first 24 hrs will ONLY be available to people who live in texas and the 4 surrounding states....I live in MD ( which is NOT a surrounding state of texas lol ) and was planning on purchasing tickets to the giants game and possibly the patriots game...does any1 know how serious the folks over at the dallas cowboys are about this rule? Is it possible they may forget while on the phone? or does any1 have any advice on how I may get around this? I dont want to wait 24 hrs and be forced with the leftovers.....

here is my advise... buy your ticket through a ticket agency or buy it from somewhere else...

lol if you need to, I'll buy the tickets for you... with a small service fee...

Really, the tickets won't be sold out... if you want them, you can get them...

The Cowboys will be placing their remaining single-game tickets on sale for the general public beginning at 10 a.m. (CDT) on Wednesday.

Jones said the club has enjoyed a successful off-season selling season tickets, so the remaining single-game tickets will be at a premium.

There are certain restrictions pertaining to the purchase of single-game tickets. During the first 24 hours of the sale period, tickets will be available only in Texas and its four neighboring states, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. Tickets can be bought in a maximum quantity of eight per game per person.

Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster online and at Ticketmaster locations. They can also be purchased in person at the Texas Stadium box office or on www.dallascowboys.com.

A limited number of season tickets are still available.

That's simply a genius idea -- Way to live up to the moniker "America's Team".

Yeah... Dallas-area ticket scalpers are rejoicing today.

I'm now totally at the mercy of my internet-challenged mother-in-law to buy my tickets for me.

If they can be purchased online, why are you at the mercy of your in-laws? You should still be able to purchase them yourself and if they ask for an address, you could put their address in yourself. Just a thought.

I doubt their checking IP addys.

This is BS.

But it doesn't really matter. I entered a "best available" search right at 10:00 CT and the best that came up was section 104 (upper level corner ez). There won't be squat left tomorrow, so I guess it's off to the premium sales sites where the jack the prices up and then charge an outrageous "handling fee" on top of it.

Ah...it's only money.

It's the credit card billing address.

Apparently, for the games I'm interested in (Giants, Skins, Jets) there are only singles available.

She was able to get me one for the Giants, but I wanted to take my family to the other games, so it's off to ebay I go!

Sux you weren't able to get the tix you wanted for regular prices. I can't imagine how much it costs to get tix thru secondary ticket sellers. Good luck.

I wanted the Patriot's game, but it was sold out, at least for 6 that I needed. I was able to get 6 for the Rams game on Sept 30th, but I had to use my brother's credit card and address in Dallas to order. It would not let me use my address for shipping (at least I didn't try becasue it said it had to match the CC address). Man, that ticketmaster is a rip off on the fees they charge!

Why is it a rip off... they are rewarding the people who are paying the taxes for their new stadium... and really, the majority of the fans are going to be around the area any way...

Yeah, I just got tickets as well. All that was left for the Rams game were the upper level endzone tickets. Pretty sure Im about as far away as it gets. Not that its that important because just going to the game is going to be amazing but I would have liked to get closer.....

hey guys...called in earlier to purchase my dallas cowboys tickets...I was looking to get tickets to the giants game and the pats game...I called an automated system (which is annoying at times) and they just asked me to enter my zip code and I entered a zip code in irving texas just to bypass the texas and 4 surrounding state rule...then it went on to my credit card number and EVERYTHING went through..just called my credit card and they said the transaction has been authorized....I got tickets in section 11 row 107 i believe....SWEEEEET! However, i called back to get tickets to the pats game and the best seats available were upper level which I did not want....which sucks cause i really wanted to go to that game....but its ok, at least I got the home opener...VERY NICE! Hopefully, nothing crazy happens and my transaction gets cancelled lol....WOW IM SO STOKED ...this will be my first ever game at texas stadium!
