The Cowboys have many options at Quarterback/Runningback/Wide Receiver.
With the weapons the Cowboys have, they could be more balanced this year than last year. The Cowboys will be more on a pass-attack with Terrell Owens.

The Cowboys have signed a Quarterback from Yale Jeff Mroz. So, now it's more Quarterback competition with four Quarterback::

Drew Bledsoe
Tony Romo
Drew Henson
Jeff Mroz

With four quarterbacks only three could make it to the 53-man roster. So, with my predictions, I pick::

Drew Bledsoe = Is going into the 2006-2007 as the starter
Tony Romo = I think he will beat out the competition again this season for the back-up position.
Drew Henson = I think he makes the team by default, unless the rookie beats him out, which from not knowing him I seriuosly doubt.
Jeff Mroz = More of Practice squad
______________________________________________________________

Now with the runningbacks and fullback the Cowboys have versatility.
This year's runningback corps possess alot of differential talent.
It's four runninbacks going into this preseason::

Julius Jones
Marion Barber
Tyson Thompson
Demetrius Summers
Lousaka Polite

I believe with all the talent that's here it could be a possibility that the Cowboys take 4 runningbacks into the season. With the two-tight end set it might just put Polite out of the fold into the 53-man roster. But this is my predictions of how it would turn out::

Julius Jones = I believe he will go into the season as the starter but, if he slacks going into the season, Bill Parcells won't hesitate to back him up.

Marion Barber = I believe he will turn into the Cowboys all-purpose back but I think he will go into the season as a back-up to Julius Jones, and if anything happens where Julius Jones, can't get going early, I think it's a chance Barber could take over the starting position.

Tyson Thompson = I think if he could show what he did last year without fumbling and if he catches the ball better I believe he could move up on the depth chart and compete for the starting position.

Demetrius Summers = I believe if anything he makes the practice squad, even if that, I believe he would have to show he could be a every down back and atleast average a 5.0 a carry to make the 53-man roster and he have to show he could play special teams.

Lousaka Polite = I believe he will be cut.
______________________________________________________________

Now, from looking at the additions at wide receiver the Cowboys are stocked.
The Cowboys even signed a couple of good ones in the NFL ROOKIE FREE AGENCY::

Terrell Owens
Patrick Crayton
Terry Glenn
Skyler Green
Miles Austin
Sam Hurd
Jamacia Rector
J.R. Tolver
Tom Crowder
Terrance Copper

I blieve the Cowboys will only keep five wide receivers and predictions are::

Terrell Owens = Complete Starter
Terry Glenn = Starter oposite side of Terrell Owens
Patrick Crayton = Back up/ Slot Starter
Skyler Green = Back-up to slot receiver (Patrick Crayton)
Miles Austin = I think he will be the 5th Receiver to beat out the competition.

Rest don't make it. :starspin

I agree for the most part but I think they find away to keep Polite and not carry Summers on the roster. Maybe practive squad.

Feel they keep Copper as the fifth wideout, other than those two I agree

It's interesting how people think Julius' job is in danger. Every indication from Parcells and the Cowboys is that he is the locked starter. It's no question. Even when Parcells was asked about JJ the look on his face was like "Why the hell are you asking that?"

It's been said before. MB3 can be a good, serviceable back. Julius can be great.

One good game out of Barber and he's the next Emmitt? Please. Doesn't anyone have any loyalty to a guy who had an amazing rookie season and was our only bright spot in 2004? Geeze.

The only two potential beginnings of triplets for the long run on this team are Julius Jones and Drew Henson. We don't have a young stud WR yet.

There are no potential future "triplets" starting for the Cowboys right now, IMO.

Bledsoe wont last most likely.
WRs are both in their 30's.
RBs cant stay healthy.

Now on the roster ? Maybe. But I still dont see a future QB.

His job is in danger. If he start off slow like he been doing for the last past two years, he's out of the starting line-up. Cowboys are trying to win a superbowl now, and I bet they are willing to make Julius Jones a back-up if he can't produce numbers a whole season.

With the Atlanta Falcons about to trade T.J. Duckett off I think the cowboys should take a stab at getting him. Nice Powerback.

Not if Parcell's ideas for Lousaka Polite pay off. He could be our power back. And cheap too.

put a fork in him, he's done, he just doesn't have the patience to let his blocks develop, if he couldn't succeed in the power-back role in ATL, what makes you think he'll succeed there anywhere else?

Not exactly, he could be our Jerome Bettis. I was pissed off with the cowboys this year when they didn't trade up to get LenDale White or Jimmy Williams, or Santana Moss.
