BTW, people keep saying 2 picks for a player when the deal would be 2 lower picks for a higher pick. Giving up 2 lesser players for a star should be seen as a good thing, if we can make it happen. Of course, we always think we can hit it big late, guess thats why lottery tickets sell.

My bet is the teams lower in the draft would love this chart, and the teams high in the draft would hate it......just a hunch.
glad somebody finally told the "draft 6 cornerbacks" crowd

LOL.

In all seriousness, I'm really on the fence with the subject. I do know one thing, if you guys want a chance at getting McFadden at all, we have to get Pacman. There is noway around it, and it is easy to see how hard Jerry has been trying to get Pacman.

There is a balance here, we need a CB and a RB, along with a WR. If we can't fill any of those needs at all through trades before the draft, I think, and apparently with Jerry's actions, that there is no chance he can even make a play for McFadden at all.

well i don't see us addressing wr this year unless we can get Roy or quan and i don't see that happening. arizona has 2 good wrs that would be huge to have for leinart and millen is dumbest GM in the NFL. I think we get pacman, trade for Dmac, still draft a cb or 2, and address wr next season.

Jerry already has stated that he wants to build around Romo. Receivers people!!! If Anderson wouldn't have screwed everything up in Cleveland we could be getting this. But our running game did not suffer that much last year. Even with JJ aka run up the centers butt literally! We need receivers! Just imagine a top receiver (the good RW) with TO, Witten, Crayton, Stanback from time to time, Barber, and Felix Jones or Chris Johnson. Who is going to stop that?

I've thought all offseason that we would need to pickup a CB in the offseason to make a run for DMac. If we can sign Pacman, which I think we will, then we can afford to take a CB later in the draft. Also, while I agree that getting Roy, DMac,and Pacman would be the best offseason possible, I would much rather get DMac, because we can always get Roy next year.:D

Cool, Super Bowl teams have stars, and role players in certain spots, so we don't have to meet every position of need with a first rounder. But I guess the point is, we have to get a CB at least, we only have 2 on the roster that have played.

Pacman is really the key, if we get him, then others will feel just a little more comfortable with taking a CB in the 2nd or 3rd round. Not like Pacman is dependable, but high risk can mean high reward. If we did trade for Roy for #28, that would probably mean we couldn't get McFadden without giving up alot of picks, which probably wouldn't be a good thing for the franchise. To me, it all comes down to Pacman for our McFadden sweepstakes.

I hope they trade pick 28 for Roy Williams, (can't believe that I'm about to say this) trade for PacMan, and take the best RB we see fit at 22. That scenerio would resolve our 3 biggest needs this offseason.

But what would we do if say Oakland asks for our #22 and next years 1st round pick? Then end up possibily with Williams, Adam Jones and McFadden. (Just for you Rampage):D
I'm one of the biggest McFad supporters out there, but I like this idea alot.
