Seems ESPN & YAHOO are about the only sites we are #1 (the ones I've checked). Guess the other sites can't get over their lovefest for Brady.

ESPN - DALLAS #1
1. Dallas Cowboys
2016 record: 13-2
Week 16 ranking: 1

Remember when Dak Prescott lost to the Giants in Week 14 and some were calling for Tony Romo to start again? Well, Prescott is 47-of-56 (83.9 percent) passing with three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown in two games since. With the top spot in the NFC wrapped up, the question is, will Prescott (and Ezekiel Elliott) rest in Week 17 against the Eagles?

YAHOO SPORTS - DALLAS #1
1. Dallas Cowboys (13-2, LW: 1)
We need to start taking defensive end David Irving seriously as a possible difference maker in the playoffs. Irving, who had an NFC defensive player of the week performance against Green Bay earlier this season, has three sacks in two games. He could make a play or two that could swing a game next month.

New England should be #1

And they are #1 on three of the rankings referenced by the OP. But it's the sort of thing upon which reasonable people can disagree. Or is it important to you to be "right" about this? If so, maybe give some thought to why that is.

Patriots OL isn't that great (so I've read).

It doesn't really matter with them because they use a quick passing game that negates the pass rush. Another reason why Brady can still play at 39 years old.

In a Dallas vs New England matchup what I worry about is them just chipping away at us all game.

With Gronk out I do feel like we match up across the board with them.

Don't fear their passing game with Claiborne back. And if they can't run the ball vs our iimproved DL, leaves only Brady to find receivers with no mismatch like Gronk.

Why? Thier division sux compared to ours. Theyve played a few good teams but its not as impressive as what we have accomplished in the NFC BEAST.

It could go either way but honestly theres no good argument to put any team above us, especially after last night.

Seattle showed me all I need to know when they went to NE and won. They can be beat and wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't KC first.

I actually think KC may be the ones to do it. Now that Tyreek Hill is an animal, Maclin is healthy and Kelce is playing good ball they are a force.
