NE is only over Dallas because Dallas has the most recent loss.

They vaulted NE over us when we lost to NY, and NE hasn't done anything to lose the lead.

It's whatever

The Pittsburg Steelers may be the best team in the AFC.

Seattle showed me all I need to know when they went to NE and won. They can be beat and wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't KC first.

Same..

The only problem with KC is Alex Smith won't play to win and Brady will.

Overall I think KC has a much better team... I think they are a top 2 team in the NFL right now but Alex Smith has to do more then play not to lose.

Hates Dak as much as Risen and ChildsPlayed.

The only haters are Romo haters. For some reason you guys can't separate thinking one player is better than another is different than hate, or the you can criticize a player and still like them.

And of course you had to bring in Romo/Dak into a power ranking thread because you had no other basis to make Dallas a victim.

I DON'T HATE ROMO. I own a #9 jersey, only CBoy jersey I have. Get over yourself. You are beyond pathetic. I'm putting you on ignore, this is so old.

It doesn't really matter with them because they use a quick passing game that negates the pass rush. Another reason why Brady can still play at 39 years old.

In a Dallas vs New England matchup what I worry about is them just chipping away at us all game.

With Gronk out I do feel like we match up across the board with them.

Quick passes and loads of picks. It's a great scheme. No QB throws to more open receivers than Brady, but he really has a knack for immediately identifying the open man and hitting him in stride for loads of YAC.

Why? Thier division sux compared to ours. Theyve played a few good teams but its not as impressive as what we have accomplished in the NFC BEAST.

It could go either way but honestly theres no good argument to put any team above us, especially after last night.

New England has the same record, is dusting teams with ease and is led by a quarterback who is proven, having been to 10 AFC championships, 6 Super Bowls which he has won 4 times.
If we're talking Garappolo, I'd agree with you. But Brady coupled with Belichick makes a strong argument for the Patriots as No. 1 - for now. :)

Personally I'm ok with being number 2 at this point of the season. It keeps the edge on this team and hopefully on February 5th the dispute will be settled once and for all.

I'm all behind Dak, but I agree with you. Many on this board have a simplistic view on what it means to be a fan.

It all will be settled when the clock strikes 0 at the Super Bowl. Until then, it's all opinion.

If they had Gronk you could make a case but without him I don't think they are 1.

New England is probably the concensus #1 on the AFC side, but they aren't dominant, especially without Gronk. That really hurts them. Having said that there are several teams on the AFC side who could bump New England from the playoffs.

I really think Dallas is the best team in the NFL when we don't shoot ourselves in the foot. I am hoping for 3 solid performances in the playoffs. If we get that, it should be good enough to get another title.

New England's strength of schedule is 31st, ours was 26th, both as of 12/24 before the Lions game.
