i'll take david ball in a second.

Yeah, who is he? I saw him in a preseason game on NFLN and he was catching everything. He must not have any speed, though.

Funny, some of the names on that list... I remember when Antonio Garay was going to be a sure-fire stud. ;)

David Ball was Ricky Santo's favorite target at UNH. He broke Jerry Rice career TD record.

Dude gets open and just catches the ball. A year in a NFL program will get him more NFL ready spped and strength wise.

Good sign he stuck on a practice squad.

He just has a knack for getting open and then catching the ball. He is not as physically gifted as 90% of the receivers in the NFL. But he can make a role for himself someday I believe.

so many great players are passed over because of their speed it makes me sick..

heart, route running, class, and the ability to catch the freaking ball is who would play for my team.

Thats is so true but the NFL is so obsessed with "measurables" An Ace Wright Ran a 4.2 but couldn't do anything else. Guys luke Drew Pearson and Jerry Rice were "too slow" but lit up NFL.

Boldun example of late and candidly never thought Irvin was all that fast post knee...
