pre-season tickets just purchased

2nd one against SF.

why? i mean it's just pre-season, right? who the hell cares? well, to be honest, i'm going for 2 main reasons.

a brother from another mother quit his job yesterday. i can only tell you how much someone must hate life to quit their job these days. i've been there with him as much as i could be over the last 3 months and i'm damn glad he did it - the stress was going to kill him otherwise. this is the same guy i had tickets that fateful day to see emmitt break the record against seattle and when it happened, he was in tears cause he was so happy he could be there.

so i wanted to give him something to look forward to these days and i know how much the cowboys mean to him.

2nd - see the new digs. let's face it, tickets are going to be damn expensive for the regular season and to be honest, i dont' wanna be around 80k people anyway. i don't wanna be around 80 people. i just dont wanna be around people damn it! : ) so this will let us see a quarter or so of our starters and get a good look at the rest.

i've got time and it will be my 44th birthday present to me as well - i may just hire a limo to take us and pick us up. it's likely to be the only game i see there for awhile, it may as well be good!

i'm actually also looking forward to seeing the rookies and guys who HAVE to play in action. i'll have my camera as long as it's allowed and will share pics when over. : )

oh...the stadium. that will be cool to see too!

I had a good time when I went last year to the pre-season game.

I went to the 3rd pre-season game so it had the dress rehearsal type atmosphere.


I also payed more for the parking than I did my actual ticket.

You'll have a good time. Its hard not to.

well, both tickets were $200 off stubhub. if a regular season game i'm sure price doubles. i just want to see the place in action and this was the best way i could think of.

for parking i'll either do the limo thing so we can party it up or we'll hit a rest. close by and shuttle over and back for like $20.

I paid $23 for mine. granted, i'm in the upper deck. but i saw plenty of tickets in your level in the 70 range. You didn't look hard enough. Then again, I never use stub hub.
