Hey...getting your A handed to you in an accuracy competition with David Carr is nothing to be embarrassed about....dude was 23-56 as a starter. So take that Dak haters!!!

 

For the sake of argument how bad do you think the Chargers team is? No doubt i believe Herbert has talent but form your words does he not at least fit into the 3 tier until he gets his team to the playoffs? Again if you make a label of the needs help....does that not fit the argument of why he is not making it?...could you not line up the Raiders and charger roster and say they look pretty similar? Maybe im off just a thought. One SB on a stacked team with no other playoff wins in 10+ years puts Stafford "On the Cusp" of being TB12 like, I mean he just played in his first CCG and now he is almost TB12....again they added several all pro's to a team that Goff had in the playoffs not to long ago. again just observations of the list, of course as always opinions vary.

 

I can appreciate your take, no doubt. But there's alot of built in room for excuses there with all due respect. Those guys were high draft picks and Dak was a 4th rounder who seem to have much more expectations on him than actual 1st and second rounders which is pretty odd.

And the reason MC didn't answer my questions because he just can't. His dislike for Dak has nothing to do with football and ive exposed him a few times now. He called Dak a tier 4 bum quarterback, but failed to explain how a tier 4 bum can do what Dak has done.

He has no answer because its not about football... Stevie Wonder can see that.

 

I don't think Herbert needs a ton of help. I think there's levels to it.

I can't put in the same category as Jackson and Carr because I don't think he needs as much as they do to be successful. I think he just needs a little here and there and can win you games with that whereas those guys need a little more.

The Chargers are my dark horse AFC team this year.

 

I don't know who it upsets but for you to have Stafford that far over Dak and Murray.... then Dak and Murray on the same tier as Wentz let's everyone know how low your football IQ is. You should be upset.

 

if they are projections that may be so but if they are based off what has happened it would be hard to put Herbert in front of Carr as they play in the same division have a similar roster and Carr did what he needed to do to get in.

This is me explaining the Manning, Brees, Stafford thing to him as it relates to my own personal tier rankings a month ago that he claims today that I can't answer. He even liked this this posts. It's on page 4 of the thread titled: Twitter: Most 400+ passing yard games since 2020 if you want to see for yourself (I'm sure he'll hurry and take his like away now though).

So, I'm posting it AGAIN, since he apparently doesn't remember reading it and liking it a month ago, so when he goes on another tangent a week from now and asks me this same question again at least some people will be see that I did in fact already answer him more than once.

This was his reply to that post:

 

Some people call reasons excuses. You're wanting an explanation of stat discrepancies from eras nearly 20 years apart. It's not the same game, as any old timer could tell you. For example, in Peyton's rookie year there were 3 teams who threw for over 4k yards. Those QBs were Steve Young, Brett Favre, and Randall Cunningham and his new toy- Randy Moss.

In Brees' rookie year there was only 1 QB who threw over 4k yards- Peyton Manning. Last year there were 12 teams to throw over 4k yards. The Ravens nearly got 4k yards and that was with backups starting 5 games.

That's a lazy, bigoted accusation based on nothing but an internet disagreement about sports. Even if it were true, it's irrelevant to the discussion and not worth a response. It could just as easily be turned around on you by people who don't think Dak is the answer at QB- "you only support him because..." It’s dumb and only sows strife and division. If you really feel like he, "can't," answer you, then just accept that you've won the argument and leave it at that. The need to hammer this point shows you're not exactly comfortable with letting your argument stand on it's own merit.

 

I pretty much agree with this but I would have Dak in tier 3. Wentz wouldnt even be on the list lol. Dak has also carried this team while Zeke has been in decline. The game against Tampa is just one example of how good Dak can be when there isnt a running game. He made throws in that game I didnt even think he could make. Dak is only in year 6. Romo wasnt Romo until his 7th year in the league and he got to sit and learn for a bit too. Dak was thrown into the fire. I think this year is the year we will see Dak enter into your tier 2. It could be blind hope but its my belief.

 

The only reason I even responded to him lately was because he responded to me. I have ignored him and his comments because I know who and what he is. I already exposed him and his weak *** argument and lack of proof to back up his low IQ act.

My mission is complete. I never said Dak is the answer long term, but he's the best answer we have right now and his work and statistics speak for themselves. The lil guy can't justify his hate for Dak and im cool with that. His hate is beyond football field production and thats cool too. Moving on...

 

That's not the question I was referring to. That was just the FIRST question you answered and yes I was proud of you for finally answering ONE. Yes I did press the like button because I was actually shocked and no... im not that petty and weak to take a like back.

BUT....there were another 3 questions I asked that you ran from so.... is what it is and you are who you are.

It's not about having a cheerleader. I just think people can see someone being really unhinged over someone's QB rankings and thinking it's pretty weird, that's all.

I mean, you were literally challenging people to fights (not me) a couple weeks ago because you didn't agree with them.

I don't recall anyone saying you think, "Dak is the answer long term." But Kirk Cousins is, "the best answer [Minnesota has] right now," so that standard isn't saying much. In fact, that standard makes me question why you're so adamant to defend him. If you think he may not be the guy, why go to bat for him like you do?

Ok cool... you considered Dak a tier 4 bum. At his 6th season he had one playoff win just like P. Manning and Brees, Stafford had ZERO. Dak had better overall stats than ALL of them at the 6th year mark.

So how is it Dak is a tier 4 bum and they weren't at the 6th year mark especially Stafford. Now before you bring up the BS about Stafford playing for the Lions... great quarterbacks elevate their team and Stafford clearly couldn't even with one of the most dominant receivers in NFL history, so let's throw that excuse out the door.

Dak never had great offensive coordinators that Brees and P. Manning had either, yet he had better overall stats (i believe) than all of them at the 6TH YEAR MARK. Now Brees and Manning got better and became HOFers... but were they tier 4 bums at the 6th year mark with one playoff win and lesser stats than Dak???

I didn't challenge anybody to fight, I just offered them the opportunity to say the same words they type online in person. Its amazing how nobody seems to have the same energy away from that keyboard. Its ironic when people talk major **** on the internet, then get scared and go snitch to a Mod when you PM them opportunity. Coward behavior.....

Dude, I already told you Brees was playing Martyball. Tom Moore hasn't held an OC job since he coached Peyton. There's also the game being different since those guys were starting out. How long are you going to hold onto the stats narrative? It's been clearly refuted.

P.S. At the 6 year mark Peyton Manning won an MVP and lead his team to the conference championship. So you might want to do what you did a month ago when I pointed that out and change it from "6 YEAR MARK" to "FIRST 5 FULL SEASONS" to make Dak look a little better.

 

Well if we can give the P.Manning and Brees a pass and room to grow after 6 years and 1 playoff win with lesser stats than Dak... then I dont see why Dak deserves a chance to get better and improve as well. Im all for giving Dak a chance because he's the best qb we've had since a young Romo and Dak is better than he was then.

Nobody wants to sit another 8, 9 years with a bunch of nobody's when we already have a QB whos been top 10 since he got in the league. Thats all im saying....
