No team is going to win a Superbowl with a 32nd ranked defense. There isn't an offense in NFL history that could win with the defense we had, so Dak, Pickens and Lamb weren't the problem.

Listen yall are confusing me wanting a better D with hating on Pickens. I’ve been on this board saying he’s better than CeeDee at times. My issue is sinking that much money into a WR corp. Of course he was a good teammate…it was a contract year. See what happens when the guy is locked for 3-4 yrs. I’d rather have a team like the playoff ones who can play tough D and still create with thr weapons they have, last year looked “glossy” but it hit us 7 wins

Tagging him sinks $28 million against the cap in 2026. If it’s a cap issue, signing him is better than tagging him.

I agree we've seen teams do it....Eagles...I just don't think our guys know how to do it and then we look like we have most of the cap dedicated to a rootin, tootin, high scorin offense and people will say "Dak gets no D help." Don't trust Daddy or sons to get it done correctly.

Yup, I know, just taking a good natured shot at Dak, for being the highest paid player in the NFL and then pushing for us to spend more cap on offence.

I’m pretty sure his thinking is “this guy balled out last year and scored lots of touchdowns and makes crazy catches” and not “we need to spend more of the cap on offense”
