Prescott: Pickens must be re-signed

I’m pretty sure his thinking is “this guy balled out last year and scored lots of touchdowns and makes crazy catches” and not “we need to spend more of the cap on offense”
I am sure you are right, just keeping it real.

What is "being intentionally obtuse"?

You know exactly what he meant because you are on the internet frequently.

Not even a nice try.

I didn't know what he was talking about. I speak English.

I was trying to figure out who says Mah, instead of My. Maybe you can elaborate. Care to explain, since you felt the need to insert yourself into the conversation?

It's okay, I got your intent, which is why I responded the way I did.

I know you need the attention though so I decided to entertain you.

Carry on with your agenda .. I'm sure there are some who will appreciate it.

What intent or agenda do you speak of? You showed something about batteries, correct?

Or was it that you had some weak *** intent or agenda..... well don't entertain, just say what you mean and mean what you say.

Im just saying that I've never heard Dak saying "Mah" in place of the word My before. Sounds like something Terry Bradshaw or Brett Favre may have said though.

Of course he wants that! But what is best for the team Dak?
He is best for the team sir. The best chance they have of reaching a title game or beyond is with the offense. It's not likely that the Cowboys can turn around a defense ranked dead last in the league in one season. It's not even regular season caliber...let alone playoff or superbowl caliber.

Three times the Cowboys have done this. All three times the receiving corp regressed the following year. Owens, Bryant, Cooper. And if they DX Pickens I fully expect the same, especially if something happens to Lamb.

You're welcome! :D

Wait

Haven’t most of us been asking for Dak and other team leaders to apply pressure on the front office to be more aggressive in free agency?

QBs come out to support their wide receivers routinely. This is what we should expect from Dak.
I don’t really understand the Dak criticism. If people want to be fair, they should compare Buffalo games from when Josh Allen had Stefon Diggs to when he didn’t. Context matters.

With Pickens, we’re a top-three offense. Without Pickens, we’re merely above average. That drop-off is obvious.

The idea that we need to trade Pickens to fix the defense just doesn’t make sense. You don’t weaken your biggest strength to patch another area. Defense can be addressed through free agency and the draft without cutting off our nose by getting rid of one of our most important offensive weapons.

Dak doesn't have to take a pay cut. There is a written in clause in his deal that opens up around $30 million of cap space once the Cowboys choose to exercise it.

Not making this a Dak apologist thread, but those saying he has to take a cut don't realize he doesn't have to.

I ask the same question wehn people intentionally type "ya'll".. "you all"? It makes no sense. No such thing on an internet message board. :)

Kid is a flat out stud and still only 24. It’s a must
Agree.

We can absolutely afford to pay both our top WRs, plus Javonte, and a few good outside free agents to boot.

This team can free a decent amount of cap space easily just by cutting Steele and Hooker, let alone the restructuring that could be done with several players (notably Clark), plus the space carried over from 2025.

That said, I would go so far as to say that if the Jones boys mess up the cap, and find themselves having to trade one high-paid receiver or the other, it should be Lamb and not GP.
