Prescott, Wentz, Mariota, or Winston: Best young QB to build around?

Damn, Hawk, you had me till the end... (click for bolded)

Heh heh...You'd take Winston over Dak?

IMO, Wentz and Mariota both are better athletes than Dak. Winston has a lot of positive physical traits too, and is coming into his own-- but he strikes me as the most immature of the bunch. Must admit-- I'm no expert talent evaluator-- but Dak has solid physical/athletic tools (not quite on par with the other 3), but has some poise, character, and leadership traits that set him apart.

LOL. Ok, why? You just lost your cred card, bro. Earn it back...

Because I think you are just throwing around mvp candidates like it's nothing

Romo is/was a damn good qb..outside of 14..he was never really an mvp candidate..Carr will probably be in the running..I mean ****, he's an mvp candidate now..I don't think Jameis will be as good as Carr is now in 3 years..and I love Winston..I think he will be really good..but mvp is another level

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess these guys are also homers who are rooting for laundry rather than actual adults. Am I right?

Haven't watched the vid, yet, Idgit, but to be fair, these are the four brightest youngins in the NFL (plus Carr, as has been mentioned plenty).

There are a few that are beginning to call this the Golden Age of Quarterbacks. Have heard it a few times, lately.

All of the reasons why you mentioned those guys being better than Dak, which are all true, are the least important attributes of a successful qb

Carr is an MVP candidate, dude. I'm not throwing that around. Have you even watched him play? Do you leave your bubble?

The rest of your narrative is wild and all over the place, this isn't a thread about Romo, settle down.

I hate Winstons intangibles.. I think he's a clown.

You're kidding me, right? Please, Catch, tell me you're kidding me. His intangibles are off the charts. Do you know anything about the kid?

Leader of men, moxie, poise, under center QB, 3-5 step drop backs, steps up in pocket, looks off safeties. Is 22.

You've never watched him. Just highlights and judgements.

Mariota is having a very good season, but he isn't having a better "overall" season than Dak, nor is his ceiling higher than Winston's.

Winston is Andrew Lucky physically.. He's just a jackass. I don't want my QB to be a jackass.

Coming from someone who really disliked the guy coming out of college, I go with Wentz. Same as I went with Luck/Wilson over RGIII in 2012.

That's just choosing from this list though. If you would throw in Carr, I'd take him. Just has more natural talent.

I said Carr was an mvp candidate

Nobody said it's about romo..I used him as an example of a great qb who isn't an mvp candidate...just like Winston will be

I dont see it in his pro career,he is going to really good in that division with a better Defense.

You said Carr wasn't elite, then added that I'm "throwing around MVP candidate(S)" as it pertains to them.

How is a non-elite QB an MVP candidate? Even tho you dismissed Carr as an MVP candidate. Damn bro, you're confusing.

If you wanna backtrack, fine, but be honest. At least with yourself. Don't argue with me for the sake of arguing.

Not sure what you mean... I would roll with Dak over all of them. See my OP. They may be rated/measured higher than Dak in terms of physical/athletic ability, but IMO-- Dak is the better leader and has the poise of a championship QB.

I think we're saying the same thing. lol...aren't we?

I think what this list shows is, the league is going to be fun to watch the next 10 years or so. I even think Bortles will eventually figure it out with the Jags once they get a better coaching staff in place.

I was really hoping the hype on Bortles was legit, but sadly it looks like he cleans up on garbage yards (4th quarter chucking).

Meh, he'll be fine. Jags coaching staff is just trash. They have the talent, but you're not getting anywhere with a loser coaching staff. He has all the tools to be a great QB.
