Prescott's arm looked sauced

Something good may come out of this game though, hopefully Schotty sees that punting is a waste of time and we may lose but the season is gonna be a real gambling circus to watch.

I keep waiting for the meme about "Ya'll got any more of those crappy teams" :lmao:

This is the real Dak…this always happens when Dallas plays a team with a legitimate defense who can both rush the passer and play tough, physical defense. Both Dak and the offense were rattled and it showed both in their play as well as in the number of penalties incurred. Dak is a front runner; when playing from behind he presses and forces the ball trying to make plays. We saw that yesterday with several poor throws and could have easily thrown another 1-2 picks, which were dropped.
What I find incredulous though is that the Dallas’ coaching staff failed to take advantage of Surtain’s absence unlike Denver, consistently exploited mismatches in the Dallas secondary. Dallas never once tried to stretch the field. Shotty definitely out coached by Payton.

I see the same thing happen alot this weekend in college also, when you have THE matchup exploit it until the Defense changes then exploit the whole that change left...now adays it seems OC's are into "Can i get the ball to all my weapons"..who cares throw the damn ball to GP until they move the coverage off lamb then throw the ball to lamb... Turpin can touch the ball when they double both CD and GP...its not hard.

Too bad for Jerry if that were the case. He owes him $62 more million, guaranteed, at this point.

Yeah, this is essentially what he does in big games, except he is usually able to muster some garbage time stats to make his performance not look as bad.

He just cant get over on Denver.

The two Broncos games he played before this, his offense scored 16 and 17 points respectively.....they just own him regardless of eras, players or coaches.

Betting against Dak facing the Broncos is one of the most locks in all sports betting.

Throwing off his back foot a lot today due to all
The pressure. That’s why.
That definitely played a part.
I'll tell you another thing. I don't think most people appreciate how elevation can affect performance when you're not used to it.

Years ago I went to a sales conference in Denver, and the team did a hike as a leisure/team building exercise.
It was a "leisure" activity, but it ended up as a competition, a bunch of young sales bucks trying to prove who's the best.

Mind you, I'm a retired Army Ranger (was in my mid 30s at the time).
Our Colorado rep lived in Colorado Springs his entire life, was a retired Air Force mechanic. He was nowhere near my level of fitness, but he was unfazed by the thin air. I had to push really hard to keep up with him on the hike (I'd be damned if I was going to let the 75th get mocked by an Air Force mechanic, lol). I literally felt like I was going to die (of course I hid that), but I'm telling you, that thin air zaps your strength and stamina.

PFF is so incredibly subjective at times. Not useless, but definitely have to look at their stuff with perspective.
Most stat metric systems when it comes to football are subjective. Moneyball doesn’t cross over to football with anywhere near the same level of analytical efficiency.

However, as long as the subjectivity is rooted in an objective system, which PFF uses, it can still be highly beneficial to gauge a player’s worth on the field.

I thought it was telling that even Romo and Nance made the comment that Joe Milton was like, "I could've been doing this all day", and then Schottenheimer held Milton back on the next drive.

Don't be surprised if you suddenly hear of an "injury" that Dak was battling through.

He’s human. You hit him early which is what they did and he’s off his back foot all game

We even had a pass for a 2 yard out that he just sailed like it was a haol

yeah, we keep getting lucky with players going out against us but we don't take advantage

I think the guy above kind a hit on what is happening at times. dak at times thinks he has to get the ball to so and so. Then he has to go to this player, then he has to take a chance at so and so, instead of looking at the field and finding the open man. It's like he knows presnap where he's going, no matter what. That is why some guys in here say he looks at one guy the whole snap. The only time he goes away is if he's blanketed.
ah heck, just call me a hater, but this is what he does. Just throw the ball to the open guy, sheesh..
