With most teams having success throwing against the Raiders, could this be the week Price makes a big play? For some reason, I just see us coming out throwing the ball on Sunday. Kind of like what we did in the 90's.

Throw to establish the run. Not the reverse. Anyways....I wouldn't be surprised to see Price make a big play for us this week.

Oh....1 last prediction (Bledsoe 300+ yards/ Jones 100+ yards)

Maybe I should clarify......I see us maybe going 4 wide a couple of times. I don't see him taking any playing time away from our top 3.

Honestly, as long as our WRs are playing as well as they are now I could care less if Price takes the field. To me he's basically here as an insurance policy incase Key, Glenn or Crayton go down with an injury. And based on the injury history of our WRs chances are he'll start at least part of the year.

I agree, I can see him getting PT and doing something good with it. Especially since Crayton has tailed off a lil bit. I see us throwing this week also, alot to JJ out of the backfield. I don't think their LB's can cover him in space...

I dont think we do. If we go 4 wide, expect Witten to be in the mix. I don't think Crayton has tailed off, didn't he have 3 catches last week for big yards? I still would like to see this chemistry between Bledsoe and Price.

He tailed off from the way he started the season is all I meant. I like Crayton but I still can see Price getting some time this week...

I don't really want this to turn into Crayton vs. Price. I just get the feeling Price makes play for us this week. Just a hunch.

This'll be a great game for Witten, he may make the difference. Book it.

With Parcells wanting to get Thompson into the game, could see them running the screen pass with thompson catching the ball this week, he would be dificult to stop in space. and last week they did run the screen once and gained good yards.

I agree. The Raiders LB's can't cover worth a flip and are going to have nightmares of Witten for along time.

I definately would like to see us go 4 wide this week. There is way too much speed in our recievers for a suspect secondary to cover. Pass first, run second this week...

IMHO, I do NOT see us airing it out against the Raiders. I think the game plan will be to run, run, run...in order to eat up clock so the Raider offense (Moss included) will be off the field as much as possible. I think Julius and the backup RBs get a lot of carries to do so. I don't think we want to get in a shoot out with them if we don't have to.

I agree but a lot will depend on how our defense fairs. Myself I think the D is going to suprise some folks in this game. I think a lot of the heat our defense is taking will be a big motivating factor for the defensive players to show they are better than what the critics have been saying.

I see our defense stepping up big also but I still see us throwing the ball alot this week. The D is going to play with a HUGE chip on their shoulders this week. They've been called out big time.. They have to come to play.. They have too...

I understand the strategy and what you are saying....but this philospy can be dangerous. You must convert the vast majority of your redzone trips and win the turnover battle. I think if we just blindly run run run...we get smoked!!

I've sais this is various threads this week. The keys to this game for me....are to have early success throwing the ball, and then running off this success/threat. We have to get off to fast start, if we get down early.....I don't like our chances coming from behind for a 3rd time on the road.

Maybe in the 2nd half.

We will run in the 1st half, have a 3-0 or 7-0 lead. Moss will burn us right before the half for a long TD.

BP and Peyton will then let Bledsoe open it up in the 2nd half and the floodgates will open.

Peerless may get some receptions. I'm sure they didn't gameplan for him too much.
