We are 4-4 in the last 8 games against Philly, but three of the wins came in the three prime time telecasts played during that stretch.

2005 (MNF) - Roy Williams with the pick six and Bradie crushed McNabb on the block.

2007 (SNF) - We absolutely roasted Philly in Philly in the famous "he don't need no stinkin' helmet" game.

2008 (MNF) - Texas Stadium was louder than I ever recalled as Romo threw a bomb TD to TO and Felix took a kickoff to the house. It was a high scoring barn burner with the Cowboys coming out on top.

2009 (SNF) - ???

Let's hope for another prime time victory over the Eagles Sunday night.

That 2005 game with the Roy Williams pick six is one of my all time favorites. I don't think I'll ever forget that play.

Yeah, I loved that game too. Loved McNabb getting destroyed by Bradie James as RW took it to the house.

I wish Roy never regressed :( Sensabaugh is much better, but I still miss the old Roy Williams. He was Ed-Reedish in his first couple years.

I was at a local sports bar called the Wildcat House. El Chevo form this site was there too. There was a very obnoxious Eagles fan there that night. Every good play Philly made he would get in people faces and flex his muscles and stick out his tongue like he was Hulk Hogan. When we got done celebrating the TD I asked his buddy, a Cowboys fan, where he was.

The coward took his things and left the bar. Yellow streak up his back.

I was at that game. Right before the play, a row of Eagles' fans a row above us were about to get in a fight with me because they were talking trash the entire game, and the next thing I know, my buddy is grabbing my shoulder tugging me back and forth, points to the field and goes, "Tell me that's not Roy." You could've heard a PIN drop; I had no idea the play had even begun. :laugh2:

I remember coming to this board the morning after that game and there were several threads with that famous picture of Roy headed for the end zone with McNabb sprawled on his butt with all kinds of captions. That was great.

Is it me or does this team almost look better than that one?

Now we have:

Jenkins full time instead of Anthony Henry or Pacman
Brooking instead of Zach
A grown-up Miles Austin
T. Choice, who wasn't playing at this point last year
Incredibly better special teams
Sensabaugh instead of Roy Williams (S)

Seeing this almost makes me feel better about this year's team.
