...I do know that having a game in which no fan can possibly have a clear rooting interest in either team is dumb. At least when you have the conferences play each other, a Dallas Cowboys fan will naturally understand who is on the NFC's team and have a minor reason to root for it. It's not the magic solution, but it's better than the awful format of the last few years.

The Pro Bowl might be beyond repair at this point. But it won't go away without the NFL trying to figure out a solution.

I think voting on a Pro Bowl team is stupid to. It's not Pro Bowl, it's Most Popular. Just like the media voting for All-Pro. It's complete and utter horse **** as most have agendas. If you ask me, the only group of people that should be voting for All-Pro or Pro Bowl is the active players themselves.

It needs to be an NFL skills competition designed by sports science. I used to love seeing which WR had the best hands, oline v dline tug of war, things like that. RB relay through an obstacle course would be fun, coach v players basketball there are a million things I'd be interested in watching the best athletes in the world do, but a half assed version of what they already do isn't one of them.

bring back the SuperStars/SuperTeams competition or whatever it was called, hell that was way better than the Pro Bowl. Actually the obstacle course was cool except Lynn Swann was too damn good at it.
