Having Peppers at #34 seems to be based on reputation alone, don't think he is top 34 based on last year.

Think you may have just glanced at it wrong. Eagles Tackle Jason Peters is number 34. Peppers is not on the list.

They thought very little of Peppers last year.

Russell Wilson over Tom Brady (#90)? Manning seems like the only QB (#3) in the top half with Rivers (#43) and Wilson (#48). Not too much love for the QBs. Very defensive oriented. Megatron is @ #35, with Marshall ranking slightly ahead @ #32. Too much bias in this thang.

Russell Wilson is going to be ranked higher than most QBs because the grade is cumulative over all aspects of his game.

He graded a little worse than Romo in passing and even in the penalty category, but he's a good scrambling QB.

It's a cumulative grade. That's why PFF's rankings shouldn't ALWAYS be taken too seriously.

In "Brady-terms"... Brady was awful last year. Trust me, he was my fantasy football QB... Terrible season for him.

I hear that, just seems odd seeing as the Hawks win despite Wilson, not because of him; outside of scrambling for a first every now and then. But this ranking would suggest he is pulling his team to victory, etc. He is a great game manager who doesn't take nearly any risks (good and bad) and has a good deep ball when he does air it out from time to time. I hear ya on the ranking grading all aspects, etc. but dayum.

And so it begins - Romo fans nitpicking the list to prove it's illegitimate for not including their hero.

Not gonna lie, I had to google Damon Harrion. And Colston over Bryant? WOW wow.

I dont think i saw Adrian Peterson on that list. Hes better than Shady.

Calvin Johnson is definitely a top 10 player, not top 40.

Marques Colston's on the list but not Dez Bryant?

Sean Lee and Tony Romo are not top 100 players but Jason Hatcher is?

You would be interested to know that PFF was really kind to Romo early on. IIRC, he was ranked as the top QB at the end of week 5.
