I know I have called him a cancer before but I just heard before the Steeler Bengal game that CJ was hangin with tailgaters early in morning before this game. Shakin their hands and talkin with them.

I gotta give the man props for that and respect him for that. How many other players would do that.

He is a showboat but seems to lack any of the malice alot of these guys have. He is literally just being silly and having fun.

Very talented player.

I just get the scene on the sidelines out of my mind, where he was yelling at the coaching staff for not getting balls thrown his way even though his Bengals were blowing the Cowboys out of the building.

Maybe he has grown up, im not sure.

He's a player who has a genuine love for the game and his antics are totally harmless and perhaps good for the game.

Ray Lewis he ain't.

As long as you're not a mean malicious person, I don't mind the celegrations..It's actually fun to watch, even if it's on us..

My bro-in law has had season tix to the Bungles for years and they know the owner very well. Add it all up and he gets preferred parking right across from the stadium. I went last year when we played up there and really had a great time until we stunk up the game. Anyway, the phone rang just before the game and it was my bro-in-law saying they met Chad as he strolled through the parking lot. Don't know if they got any pics but it was a great PR job by Johnson. He is VERY popular up there.

He just likes having fun. His endzone stuff never taunts anyone either.

well said. showboating, thru TD dances and media interviews, is spreading and getting greater attention more this year than i recall in the past but the silly, having fun type looks to be winning out! that kind of showboating i kinda like and find entertaining

If we get Terell Owens we will have a WR that is one of the best at showboating.

I have no problem with a little showboating after a score unless the players team is getting blown out (that's not cool). But as long as it is all in fun and not taunting or malicious I don't have a problem with it.

I agree. It's fun. I think it's ri-damn-diculous how they penalize teams in college for celebrating too much. That is one of the dumbest rules ever implemented and there are A LOT of them.

Chad Johnson is a playmaker I wish the Dallas Cowboys had, the guy is all about team and winning, he's NO cancer.
