He gave the ball to Kevin Burnett's baby after his TD. I wonder if he even knows that was Burnett's family.:laugh2:

Then Burnett's stoked. That woman was smokin'.

Oh, you're high alright.

Walk on at Nebraska
Kicked around as 7th round backup ST guy

Starting 4 years plus in NFL. Your "high"insinuations are offbase and in this discussion flat out wrong. Scott Shanle is the epitome of a blue collar old school LB.

Back to thread - Roy #11 delivered some.

I can respect that you like him based on his blue collar style, however, enough to make him your avatar on a Cowboys board? If you like blue collar LBs, why not adore the epitome of Blue Collar LB that also happens to be a Cowboy and also happened to play GREAT today. I think his name is Zach Thomas....

Funny thing about Shanle, Saints fans dont even like the guy I was there reading their thoughts on the players who failed the drug tests and a few of them were saying things like "Man I hope Shanle is one of the 4"

He's starting in the NFL.

There's always these old guys at football games that act like they ever could play the game better. Bitter

There are a lot of mediocre players that start, he starts because the Saints LB core has been awful for a long time.

Once again, you need to sharpen up on your math, I know you got to count with candy in special ed classes, but half of 11 is not 3. Go to the store and get some candy, and have fun.

Scott Shanle sucks, you wanna be super scout.

Dude's got spiderman arms!

I seriously though don't understand his lack of playing time, week 1 and 2 as a Cowboy or not. After all we have a backup QB playing, this is as good of time as any to just throw him in to the wolves. Not like the guys been sitting any time this year. Lets just toss him into the mix at the #2 position and let the cards fall where they may. In the process, give Romo as much first hand sight of him playing as possible for when he comes back.

This isn't a situation like Pac Man where he hasn't played for an entire year.

This isn't a situation where he's not a top 15 at his position in this league.

He's finally where he really wants to be.

He's played every game all season long as a starter in Detroit.

Romo is out.

Brad could use a friendly non-familar face on that offense.

He's not going to sit behind Crayton very long anyway.

We couldn't look much worse as it is no matter whom we threw in there at this point. I say he gives us a new edge and takes immediate pressure off TO allowing him to get open and help create for our crippled offense without Romo and Felix the Cat...and now Witten.

Time for Roy11 110%!!!

Hard to maintain sarcasm if you hint that you're joking. :)

I wasn't joking, at all. I just love to make the sticking the tongue out thing for those who are just flat out wrong about things.

I'm not defending Shanle, or anything, but even a mediocre or average NFL player is vastly superior to anyone on these forums, in your local flag football league, in the Arena league, in your local semi-pro league, whatever.

Being average in the NFL still means you're better than most people out there at playing football.
