Lights went brighter for these guys

Rich Eisen held his own on the forty 6.03 in full suit. Nice way to set the tone for future NFL announcers. I personally would like to see him race Hostile. Street clothes of course no speedo shorts.

QB
Marquise Gray (Minnesota)
Matt Scott (Arizona) HMMMM

RB
Knile Davis (Arkansas) very nice forty time after his horror story injury IMO cannot trust his durability. FYI I cringed when we picked DeMarco Murray last year because of injuries not talent.

WR
Tavon Austin (West Virginia) special talent hard not to compare to Percy Harvin
Ryan Swope (Texas A&M) one of the most impressive players at the combine

TE
TE Vance McDonald (Rice) better than James Casey IMO

OT
Lane Johnson (Oklahoma) wow as good an athlete as Tyron Smith
Kyle Long (Oregon)

DE
Ezekial Ansah (BYU) Numbers off the chart
Margus Hunt (SMU) Incredible numbers for someone his size
Devin Taylor (So. Carolina)

LB
Jon Bostic (Florida)
Jamie Collins (So. Mississippi)
Jonathan Stewart (Texas A&M)
Cornelius Washington (Georgia)

CB
Dwayne Gratz (U.Conn)
Darius Slay (Mississippi St.)
Brandon McGee (Miami-Fla)
Jamar Taylor (Boise St.) this guy could be one heck of a safety
Steve Williams (Cal)
Tyrann Mathieu (LSU) wow much better than I suspected other than the bench press he looks like the real deal
BW Webb (William & Mary)

Safety
Duke Williams (Nevada) he keeps popping up as a real talent
Shamarko Thomas (Syracuse) seems to do everything very well
JJ Wilcox (Georgia Southern)

Shadows crept into the descriptions of these players after the combine

QB
Mike Glennon (NC State)

RB
Monte Ball (Wisconsin)
Stepfan Taylor (Stanford)
Christine Michael(Texas A&M) reportedly overslept and missed two team interviews at the Combine after looking terrific in the workouts.

TE
Gavin Escobar (San Diego State) no one saw a 4.8 coming his way in the forty, I hope he falls enough for the cowboys to pause.

OL
Travis Frederick (Wisconsin) 40-yard dash he ran a time of 5.58 seconds with 1.85 seconds in the 10-yard split, a disappointing total of 21 reps on the bench press.

DE
Damontre Moore (Texas A&M) pulled his hamstring on his second attempt at the forty yard dash and 12 reps at 225 on the bench
Sam Montgomery (LSU) most thought he was quicker the numbers were disappointing and comments in an interview that he didn't always go 100% when facing weaker opponents

I was just hoping that RB Christine Michaels was something other than advertised similar to Chris Rainey from last year all the talent but none of the self control and maturity you would like to see before the draft.

I hope a couple of visits to Valley Ranch by the bright ones and one or two from the shaded prospects give us pause on draft day.
