According to google, one left at 5:03PM and is in route now. That would match up with Ware's timeline if he took the picture en route. I don't care enough to research the timezones. If he signs, he signs...he's probably the only player we would go after early though.

Nobody were losing is worth sweating over. We need new blood on this defense In a bad way!
Regardless, there will likely be a step down in production if you can believe that.

It is very hard to retool a defense in one draft.

It is getting to the point that even bodies are an issue, let alone the talent level.

have you looked at the 2018 class?

Probably worse.

Free agency consists of great players on the downside of their career (Charles, Peppers, Peterson, Marshall) or players that were let go because their team felt they could upgrade so they didn't make the investment. Rarely do you see players hit the market solely for salary cap issues unless the team has an overflow of talent at the position (Leary).

I agree. I'm just tired of the same old band being comfortable.

Was also hoping this would force Dallas to be fa players.

We have Tapper returning. We have Jaylon returning. He may even bring along his nerve; who knows?

What else are you expecting?

Oh, and we have Marinelli, who converts water into wine. We are ready to roll.

If they want to be competitive, they are going to have to bring back the bad bass player (Carr) and possibly a roadie (McFadden).

We got the new lead singer though (Butler).

Read somewhere Carr might be looking at 8-10mil a year. That's a lot

I am starting to get the feeling you people think Tapper is the new Ben Bass. Is that what you are trying to tell me?

If true, then we have our war daddy. No need to go glory holing for one.

No I didn't want to pay Church $6 million per year.
But I did want to pay an all pro safety $6 million per year last year....Eric Weddle.
That's funny because at this point in their careers they're about equal players. This isn't the weddle from 5 years ago.

It's all about who has the best core and who drafts the best.

Our core is Dak, Dez, Zeke, Smith, Fred and Martin. I would take that core over anyone.

We still need to do a little more on defense though. It seems we are intent on some mathematical equation. The team is under the impression that we will score points consistently and other teams will press and make mistakes on offense when the fields get shorter.

I guess it worked last season and 14, still need to invest in talent though.

CB- Carr, Mo, Logan Ryan, Prince Amukamara, Sterling Moore, Kayvon Webster, Davon House, Sam Shields

DE- Demarcus Ware, John Simon, Devin Taylor, Jabaal Sheard, Elvis Dumerville, Mario Williams, Datone Jones, Alex Okafor, Chris Long, Jacquies Smith

S- TJ McDonald, Jairus Byrd, Aaron Williams, Bradley McDougald, JJ Wilcox

WR- Russel Shepard, Kendall Wright, Marquess Wilson, Cordarrelle Patterson, Justin Hunter, Kamar Aiken

And I'm sure I'm missing more than a few guys...feel free to add.

In a perfect world we could still come away with a haul like Logan Ryan, Jabaal Sheard, Kendall Wright, and Jairus Byrd but even if its only Carr, Ware, McDougald, and Patterson I'll still be happy.

It's actually not hard at all to overhaul a defense in one offseason. Especially when you've got players you like backing up the ones you let walk. That's not our problem. Our problem is we lack impact pass rushers, and there aren't many available outside the first round of the draft.

Unless we lose both Carr and Mo, we're in pretty manageable shape still to get that unit in a place where we can seriously address it in the draft.

unfortunately the offense was downgraded so far as well as the defense.
the math equation does not compute in terms of winning.

I don't see it with the offense.

Williams is replaceable. Leary is already replaced and Zeke and Dak should be better in their sophomore season. We will be fine. We still have the same ball control, efficient offense in place that played. A huge role in winning 13 games.
