Romo - "These defenses have turned it up a notch....."
I asked you were you watching the game and you didn't say you were so yeah I said you box score watched lol. You still haven't said if you are watching the game lol.You are hilarious. Keep denying man. Post the other ones where you said I and others were box score watching.![]()
oh they understand it's also your narrative for defending someone. they understand it's all connected.I mean it seemed they did its only you who had an issue with what I said. No one else thought I was saying QB play doesn't matter lol.
You didn't clue in when I referenced Josh's perfect pass?I asked you were you watching the game and you didn't say you were so yeah I said you box score watched lol. You still haven't said if you are watching the game lol.
Ok. I'm not gonna keep going back and forth I said what I said take it however you want.oh they understand it's also your narrative for defending someone. they understand it's all connected.
I can't tell you what you are watching. If you didn't see good defense being played I can't help and I'm not going to. You say you watched the game ok. I Just saw defense being played. You didn't clue in when I referenced Josh's perfect pass?
Wouldn't matter what I said or didn't, you would have stuck with that but all of a sudden the low scoring defensive game you thought you had as a talking point went away. When that all failed, you've been scrambling.
I thought you were going to the game thread?
Staubach doesn't count bc he had to serve a 5 year Navy commitment before he could play in the NFL. So, that tends to hurt draft stock. He wasn't some back of the draft of the draft longshot. Staubach was drafted in 1964 by Dallas just to secure his rights knowing he wouldn't be able to take the field until 1969.Hmmmmmmmmmmm.....
Did you know that at least 14 Super Bowl winning QBs were not 1st round draft picks??? On that list were such names as Staubach, Favre, Montana and some dude named Brady. And of course there is many a 1st round draft pick QB that was a total bust. "It is not where you start but how you finish."
post #174. "I'm so glad I can go to the gameday thread"You thought I was going to the game thread? What are you talking about?
I'm looking silly to who you? Respectfully I don't care. You're being weird today I don't know what's going on.post #174. "I'm so glad I can go to the gameday thread"
I told you to go review your notes & regroup before continuing.
Looking awful silly denying things you said like 15 posts ago. But you do you.
Always something with the other person when you get owned by your own words.Yeah I should've known then you're either drunk or out of it.
Ok.Always something with the other person when you get owned by your own words.
Why did Mathew Stafford not win earlier in his career? I don’t know , but when I watch him it seems like he makes plays with a specific set of skills that sets him a level above most other qb . This skillset is the ability to throw quickly or with multiple angles or something I’m not sure. I’m not an expert about it .
But the reason I find this crucial is that I have deemed that to win against elite competition. By elite I mean the biggest genetic freaks or cheaters or steroid heads or who knows, in order to beat them ya gotta have something about ya that’s great. That they just can’t beat.
So you claim our offensive line is ranked a certain level or they get a certain amount of penalties I don’t know. I feel like a qb of this stature basically has the keys to the franchise. Can help draft. Get zeke signed. Ask for resources. Restructure deals etc.
So I find the excuse of too many penalties against San fran to be kind of just an excuse. I specifically remember clips of romo telling linemen whatever you do don’t hold, I can beat the rush but don’t hold bc then we’re dead.
So he was willing to take a hit or make a play and risk the interception but he would go down swinging. But instead we got a game where the guy slid down too late and whoops didn’t hand the ball to the ref? Yikes. You dream of moments like that as a kid and you barf it. Maybe intentionally to avoid that last pass?
one word
DETROIT
bc it was his chanceGreat post, no doubt. With that said, there has never been a quarterback who has faced a number one defense in the playoffs before who was able to lead their team to a win after his team committed that many penalties for a reason.
Thats not an excuse, that is real life facts.
So again.... if no other quarterback in NFL history has been able to overcome 14, 15 penalties vs a number one ranked defense in the playoffs, why was Dak expected to?
This is a simple question.
I don't understand your point.W
We have a good qb. It doesn't matter where he was taken. What does matter is that he is good.
You know how
bc it was his chance
Yes. On his journey to greatness that was the challenge presented to him. And now here we are.It was his chance to be the first quarterback in NFL history to overcome and help beat a team fielding a number one defense and his own team committing 14, 15 penalties in a playoff game?
Sounds logical.
Yes. On his journey to greatness that was the challenge presented to him. And now here we are.
The only questions remains is he one of those quarterbacks who is welcoming to helping out a young qb or does he demand a trade if they draft one
And after last night there are 6 QBs left in the playoffs and zero that are paid in the top 15 by annual value.
I think it’s seriously time that teams rethink paying these mega qb deal.
