Very interesting numbers. Thanks Percy.

I think Dak's misfires with Dez has to do with poor route running and inability to get separation by Dez. I don't believe Dak knows trusts Dez to be exactly where he is supposed to be when he is supposed to be there.

It's not for lack of trying, as the bottom stats show.

Yeah I am not willing to lay this at Dez's feet solely. He's had his issues, including some drops but Prescott has missed him on throws when open and has missed even seeing him open at times. I still think the staff doesn't use Bryant as creatively as other teams use their top targets either.

It's a bizarre dynamic for sure.

I do agree there have been times when Dak missed him when he was open. Especially early in the year when Dak was struggling with his accuracy.

But I would still lie most of the blame at Dez's feet.

Since I’m new to the site I’m still learning where you guys stand on things. However, please tell me the majority of you don’t blame Dak for the “slow start” to season.
The offense is ranked #2 in points per drive, and #1 in TD per drive. We're 3-3 because of the defense.

The O.P. is in no way an attack on Prescott.

When they start pressing the issue is when it seems to be a problem. When they are playing in the flow of the game it seems to work pretty good. From the eyeball test at least. :omg:

Very good post. I have been complaining like hell about us forcing the ball to Dez. This confirms it is a bad game plan.

Sadly a couple do. I'm sure they will be along shortly to add to the mix.
On the whole, most point to the defense and scheme of the defense ( i.e. Rod ) and the absence of Sean lee for the slow start.
Coach Garrett doesn't get much slack here either

If they are behind in the 2nd half, they need to quit forcing it to Dez.

They can't do it in the 1st half or he'll just quit if they don't throw to him.

Dak does lock in on Romo too much sometimes. Romo used to do the same thing. Dak was tearing it up last year in games when Dez wasn't even playing. I think we need to see more of Butler and Beasley out there. Beasley was the #1 receive for us last year, what the hell happened?

I’ll be waiting to hear how it was Dak’s fault in GB game. Ha! I’m gonna like it here. I can see that already!
There are a few guys who blame Dak on the throw to Williams that went off his hands for a pick 6.

I'm being serious. There are guys here who blame Dak for that.

Hard to believe. I know.
