Quarterbacks of the future...

This is set for mid to late round first, early second round quarterback possabilities. i know thats a long way away, but i am bored. so what do you think i dont know much about any of these qb's but brohm or palmer are probably my favorite.


Brian Brohm - 6'4, 212 pounds louisville. tore acl last year and did not finish season. didnt play top competition but from his stats looks solid.
comparison-troy aikman? (settle down)

Drew stanton-6'3, 228 pounds michigan state. has had a few minor injuries, seems to be a tough player. comparison-jake plumber? jeff garcia?

Jordan Palmer-6'5, 235 pounds utep. started football late but shows potential. doesnt play top competition, but doesnt play with top competition. throws alot of picks. comparison-brett favre? carson?

why talk about these guys when you could talk about Croyle, Quinn or higher picks, I do like Palmer a lot though, he may go higher than a lot of people are speculating.....

why talk about these guys when you could talk about Croyle, Quinn or higher picks, I do like Palmer a lot though, he may go higher than a lot of people are speculating.....

If we are in position to Draft Brady Quinn, it will be a result of a list of several things, and none of them are good. Either we have one of the worst records in the league, or Brady Quinn had a flop of a season and we may not want him anyway.

Now, I don't see either one of those scenarios playing out. Therefore, the only way he becomes a Cowboy is with a blockbuster trade like a Ricky Williams type deal. I don't see that. It would have to be an AFC team who has recently drafted a top 3 QB for us to even come close to touching it.

Most likely worst teams: Bills, Jets, and Texans, all of which would probably keep Quinn.

I think some choices will be made this season and I fully expect to see Dallas draft a QB next season

I really dont see the Jets drafting a QB next year-they took Kellen Clemmens in the 2nd round this year and many think he could be a steal.

I dont see the Texans drafting more than a backup [4th round or later] because they just signed Carr to a contract extension, and he does have talent

I strongly see the Buffalo Bills drafting Brady Quinn, unless J.P. Losman shows something this year, or unless Quinn stinks this year, both unlikely things to happen.

Prior to the injury, I like Brohm the best of the three options. I would then say Palmer two and Stanton three.

I don't know if the Bills would draft Quinn or not. I would not be surprised to see them take a QB but I don't know about Quinn. Quinn has a decent arm but I would not call it extremely strong by NFL standards. Buffalo is one of those places where a QB has to be able to chunk it pretty good. Quinn may not have enough velocity on his ball for Buffalo's liking. Just and observation.
