How much does it cost, are there daily tickets etc.. good hotels close to the facility in SA. Stuff of that nature. I know its a way off, but i need to see how much money I need to save up.

Thanks in advance.

yeah its free.

IN san antonio when I went four years ago, We stayed downtown and walked to the alamodome where they practiced and then spent the day eating on the riverwalk, went to the movies and had some drinks on the riverwalk...

Its small and easy to get around.

The alamodome was never really that filled, however next year this team has a big draw so I would imagine it will be much different.

You have to pay to park. I think it was around 10 bucks to park at the Alamodome parking lot.

When i was in the Navy i was stationed at lackland AFB for culinary training, and every weekend me and my buds would go to the riverwalk and stay at Hooters, and Champs sports bar.

Parking is $5 bucks at both the Alamodome and the High School field they practice at.

The team stays at the Marriot Riverwalk.

awesome Burgers = Chris Madrid's near Blanco / Hildebrand...it is close to downtown

awesome Mexican Food = Pico de Gallo by IH-35 and Commerce St.

an entertaining place to eat on the Riverwalk is Dick's Last Resort.....the waitstaff is trained to be rude to customers, so get ready for some insults and bad service when you go....but that is part of the experience there.....so enjoy

another burger place is Armadillo's. It is on McCollugh and Greenwood....between downtown and San Antonio College. It used to be known as Little Hipps. I haven't been since they changed the name, but I hear it gets lots of business.
