I know this thread might get me a couple of :bang2: but it's actually not that bad.

Gimme a min while I throw my bullet proof vest on.

Ok all strapped up.

Now, If V.Butler continues to exceed expectations and keep 'ballin' out would you trade D.Ware at the end of the year for two (2) first round picks which I think we will be able to get.

I'm not saying i'm for it but I don't think I'll be all that pissed off if we did. That would leave us with 4 1st round picks in back to back drafts and maybe we can lock our issues at o-line and saftey (if need be) for the next 10-12 years.

no. D Ware is once in a decade type of player. Butler has so many limitations. although he may make some plays, teams don't GAME PLAN to stop butler, never will. so you take him out of the defense and all of a sudden teams start to have a lot more success. why? because instead of double, triple teaming Ware, instead of running away from him, instead of worrying about him, they can double somwbody else, take that player out of the game and run the whole playbook.

so you like to gamble on two first round picks? one of which will be average for the best pass rushing LB in the league in the past 10 years?

nah....we spent so many picks through the years to find a pass rusher. now lets get rid of him?

no, ware has a chance at this pace to be a HOFer, you don't get rid of HOFer ty pe players. you surrond him with good players and that's how you win championships.

and nobody can even keep up with how many draft picks you guys have given up

For proven players though. Commanders give up picks for players, not players for picks.
