Dude, this one is up there. I mean, really, up there. Backwards hat thread status.

Why or Why not?
kozier did fine, nothing spectacular. However, he held his own ground fine.

No one will give the cowboys a 2nd or a 3rd round pick on a 32yr DE/OLB who is currently recovering from an ACL injury.

Scratching the 3-4 defensive scheme and convert to a fulltime 4-3 will not happen

Hard to believe that the Cowboys would sign Garcia under any circumstances.

He can not survive outside of a West Coast Offense.

Not to mention he is another re-tread guy.

Bless your heart, but you must of had a flashback to ten years ago. None of those coaches are headed this way. Also Garcia can ONLY do the West Coast Offense based on his two previous starts, plus he is like 36 already. I also don't think he has the arm to consistently drive the ball on long outs and such. That isn't the answer IMO.

I think we need one pass rusher, one good guard and possibly someone to replace Roy if he can't drop some weight and improve his speed and quickness. Most of the players in the leage are getting faster. Those getting slower aren't going to be able to cut it. Speed kills. So does a lack of it. :)

There is talk he will go to Minnesota to start and run the West Coast Offense under Brad Childress.

Unless he starts elsewhere, why on earth would the Eagles let him go. He got them into the second round of the playoffs.

I agree about this, and Kosier. Fact is you can't have a Pro Bowl player at every position, not with the cap. He did fine. Second, Garcia without the West Coast O is well, go pull some film of him in Cleveland and the Lions, he can't play. I would expect him to get some looks from teams that run the WCO for a chance to start.

Sign Ricky Ray of the CFL Edmonton Eskimos. All-Star QB, 2 Grey Cup wins, only 26 years old.

I like the 2 guard thing, bring 2 guards in. 1 from the draft, 1 from Free Agency. If Kosier beats the other one out, so be it. Don't like the Garcia bit, I would like to see them draft 1 later on maybe day 2.

Maybe not Garcia, but the Cowboys need to find a QB that can start right away. I'm not into rebuilding at the QB position. There has to be some veterans that are looking for jobs.

I like your coaching lineup. Maybe that will happen.

Bottom line: no more rookies trying to lead us into the playoffs. December and January are for veterans.

If by some chance the Eagles make it to the NFC Championship or Super Bowl with Garcia, what the hell are they going to do next year? Go right back to McNabb? Hell, what if by some freak chance they win the Super Bowl? How about then? I just can't see them letting Garcia walk, but he may want to once McNabb comes back. I dunno.

He's a free agent I believe after this season. Now Philthy will definitely want to retain him, and he is worth more to them than to anybody else. But if say Minnesota were to pay him a good 2 year contract to be a stopgap QB, rather than taking a little less to be Philthy's backup, he might take it.

But nobody's going to pay him big money or give him a big deal. It was 1 good season, and he's a system QB if there ever was one.

Garcia would be the perfect backup if we ran a wco, which we might as well do anyway. There's no reason JJ and MB3 couldn't catch 75 balls between them. But I'm not so sure he wouldn't want to go somewhere he can start, and even if we did switch to the wco, Owens' presence would be one of the major reasons for doing so, and that (Owens' presence) automatically eliminates the possibility of bringing in Jeff Garcia.
