Question for season ticket holders

I am a season ticket holder.
So are they forcing people to try to list on NFL Ticket exchange.

Last year they tried this crap if you wanted the hard copy of your tickets, you could not list them for sale until after July 1st. So if you want to list them for sale, like on StubHub, you had to "print" which also meant you could download a PDF copy. But if you did it before July 1st you would not get your hard copy tickets.

Also if you listed them for sale on NFL TE, you could not download the PDF version, unless you unlisted them first. This is a pain in the arse. As their site crashed in the middle of doing this. but shown they were removed.
This is another story in itself. It caused duplicate parking passes sold. Good thing it wasn't game tickets.

So now this year, they are using the electronic mobile downloads. I e-mailed my ticket rep about downloading the PDF version. As usual I get a vague response from them. There is not an option currently to download a PDF version. So you either list them on NFL TE or wait until the hard copy tickets are sent to actually send them at a future date on StubHub.

This is yet another crappy way of them doing business forcing their hand in one direction.

So has anyone seen this, or know what to do to download the PDF versions, or if and when that option will be available.

I am following this issue very anxiously as well. However, I will say this: In the past, the .pdfs became available in Account Manager at roughly the same time the physical cardboard-stock tickets are distributed.

So I am not necessarily worried (yet) about the fact that Account Manager doesn't have .pdfs available to download, print or transfer. Those aren't expected until late July.

Last year the PDF's were available a good month or more before the tickets were mailed.
IIRC they were available around 1st week or so of May. I listed them on NFL TE, then had to unlist them to put the PDF version available on stubhub instead of the hard copies. After the July 1st deadline. Though the hard copies weren't mailed until late July, early August as usual.

PDF "print at home" option has been replaced with mobile phone ticketing for 2015.
I'm a long time STH disappointed with NFL & Ticketmaster for eliminating the print at home option and replacing that with an e ticket on a smartphone.
I don't want an e-ticket on a phone. Cell battery dies on me waiting in line, I don't get in the game! I would never put my method of entry on a phone.
Many will like this new phone option, but the option to also print at home, and the ability of STH to email printables to others, should be restored.
They are try to slow resale that's off ticket exchange. No longer can I sell a real ticket that you print instantly.
We're back to needing a buyer to trust us to mail those when they arrive in August.
Shame on NFL & Ticketmaster for eliminating the print at home option.
PSL's & tickets are too expensive, any thoughts I had of adding more seats are forgotten.
I also started a thread on the Cowboys site.

I admit it wasn't exactly something I was checking everyday, but there's no way they were available the first week of May. Heck, the payment due date wasn't even until May 1st.

I've been looking into this and it doesn't look like this is an NFL decision, it looks like it is just Jerruh. Can't find any other team doing the same.

I always try to get to the games. But if I am working out of town and can't make it back for the game, I sale them. When it gets closer to the games, and if you still need tickets, let me know.

It was probably more around 1st week in June, or mid June. I was in Houston at the time. Someone bought the Giants tickets. I didn't want to wait to get the hard copies, as I was out of town anyway. so I was able to print the PDF versions and mail those.

Stub Hub said it was easier to do it that way, then to try to upload them for them to send them, since I already printed the address form.
I believe it was more they didn't want to go through processing it on their end, or didn't or maybe couldn't change the method of sending them once sold. since I had the hard copy selected and not the PDF version.

I e-mailed this to my ticket rep.....

This is very disappointing. It seems just another way to control ticket sales through NFL Ticket Exchange as it is to control the season ticket holders. I travel for my work and am often out of town. If I sale my tickets, It is very hard to be able to mail these out if sold. I do not, and will not take tickets with me while I travel. The PDF version is very convenient. Try selling tickets and then tell people to pick it up at the will call window, the day of the game. So a family flying a long distance, gets to the will call window, only to be told they don't have the tickets, or there was an error.

Also many people do not want it or cannot use it as a mobile ticket. They want something in their hands for what they paid their hard earned money for. And know before hand they will actually see the game, not wait on tickets still at a long line at a window. They buy the tickets to have in hand.

As said above, this is just another poor decision made to control season ticket holders. Force the sale through NFL Ticket Exchange and to discourage fans from selling through other places such as Stub Hub. We season ticket holders work hard for our money to pay for these tickets, and fell it is our right to sale them if we can't make it to a game, or some for profit if that's what they choose. We pay for them, we should have more say so in how we can receive the format we want them in.

Of course all this will go unheard. As no one in the organization truly cares of the fans opinions. Or they would have thought of this before any decisions were made. This correct decision should have been keep it all the same. But ADD the mobile option as another option.

And trying to prevent fraud or duplicate sales is not an excuse. As I did have a situation last year, where a parking pass was sold twice. But that was entirely the NFL Ticket Exchange fault. I cancelled a listing, it said it was cancelled, but turned out they did not cancel it. And then they wanted me to fix their problem. All I got was the run around from them and from the Dallas Cowboys tickets sales department. So now I am hesitant to list them there. Therefore I am requesting a PDF version be made available to download.

If its not league-wide, then we have a better chance of getting that back

Most STH own more seats than we use. I do attend all home games, but only use 2 or 4 of my 6 seats.

Profit margin on seats sold offsets cost of seats used. Own enough seats and you can attend free or even make money.

The high initial cost of the PSL has to be averaged out over the years.

I had split the season tickets with a friend the last 2 years at Texas Stadium, and the first 3 years at the new stadium. But his financial situation changed and I am now responsible for both seats. I took that upon myself to do this. Then I had to start traveling for my work again. So it is a concern, from what was convenient to list them for sale and easier to get them to the buyer, now they make it harder to do this unless you use their system...that is why...

Man I feel that, paying a PSL note, a ticket invoice & playoff invoice every year. But that's not enough, the same people we paid big bucks for PSL's & tickets want a piece of what little we make on resale. Greed indeed!
