One: Best scenario if our one-year FA signees (Quinn, Cobb...) have solid years what would be the possible return in comp picks if they sign market multi-year contracts elsewhere?

Two: Collins was an UFA, would that effect his comp return, therefore would trading now for something in return make sense?

Appreciate the info.

Quinn and Cobb could get us comp picks for sure. Both Malik and La'el Collins as well. But Malik could be resigned by us.
Don't forget Byron Jones.

Others if they are on the roster, and a few of these will need a good season. Som will say they won't make the team nor have a good season.
Hurns, Austin

Others possibly.
Looney, Su'-a-filo, Covington , Hyder

Other low level players as you never know, Brown, Heath, Frazier.

Even Lee will be a FA, Witten, is his a 1 year deal? Hey, just throwing it out there.

Something tells me we will have some prove themselves suitable for another renewed contract, while others will likely depart. Some will afford us a nice comp pick and there might easily be at least a few doing so. There's talent to be retained, however and that's, at least, quite likely.

We've been fortunate to have an unusually rewarding offseason, any way you slice it. The benefits will be felt, some sooner, some later! Let's be thankful, whatever the returns are that we may be seeing. These are especially good times. Enjoy it to the max, as you see fit. :)

Comps picks for the 2020 draft are from free agents lost prior to the 2019 season.

A comp pick received for Cobb would be a pick in the 2021 draft.

While the actual formula for awarding comp picks has not been made public, it is known that it includes the size of the contract signed by the player and the quality of the season turned in by the player with his shiny new team. Draft position does NOT figure into the equation.
