Are you still glad he retired given who our next HC might be?

I hated to see BP leave but I'm not as upset about the prospect of Phillips or Turner as some are.

As I said a few times...

I am a little disappointed if Norv comes in but I am not so POed as most.

I believed we needed change and ANYONE cant do much worse than whats been going on for 11 years now.

I am hoping for the best no matter who comes to town.

Change was needed and it is coming.

I said it before. Be careful what you wish for, you just may get it. I'll be the first one calling those radio show screaming at them if 3 years from now the Cowboys are mediocre and they say, "Well, if BP was here maybe it would have been different." Well, you poured gasoline on the fire and ran him out of town, MEDIOTS!!!!

No, I wanted Parcells back. Man, I was so Happy when JJ named Parcells coach 4 years ago. Now we are going with Norv Turner?:banghead: Talk about 180 degree change of emotion.:anvil:

I hope this is all pre-mature...

Everyone should have waited until Norv is officially in AND our DC is named.

Our problem was running the ball and our lack of pressure.

Norv might be able to fix the run and ANYONE with the talent we have on defense could create some pressure.

Relax people.

Yes.

This team was going nowhere fast. Now it's just going nowhere a little faster, With the re-hiring of coach Jones.

everyone who agreed with that needs to be bookmarked and reminded of that if this all goes into the toilet.

I agree except they will then say it was Jones' fault anyway. In the end, they can't lose.

I didn't want Parcells to go as I wanted him to groom the next guy like Garrett or allow us to wait to outbid everyone for Cowher next year. Furthermore, there was no one out there and available that made me, well you know.

Now we have no Parcells and people are talking about the Cowboys again, but derisively like before Parcells came to us. The circle is complete.

I just wish Jerry would hire Steve Mariucci as head coach and then sign Jeff Garcia as the back up QB.

YEs, I am! He fit somewhere between Campo and Gailey. He didn't accomplish a thing here. He had the talent in place, just could not get them to play to their potential. Meanwhile, and number of guys he cut loose did alright in Newarlins.

I am not so sure he is the great judge of talent that everyone thought he was.

Yes. And if he supposedly left the team in such great shape talent-wise, then we have nothing to worry about, right? Like Norv cant get us to 34-32? I'm pretty sure he can.
