Have a question, wasnt adam jones to meet the criteria that commissioner goodell placed on adam jones to get into a rehab within 24 to 72 hours?

At first report was stated that adam jones did check into a rehab in dallas, but since today on nfl network, they were saying that adam has been looking at rehabs for alcohol in dallas area, but he hasnt checked into a rehab yet.

So, what were the guidelines that commissioner and time window that adam was suppose to check into a rehab.

To me, if adam was suppose to check into a rehab for alcohol abuse, within 24 hours to 72 hours and he hasnt yet, then that says adam still doesnt recognize what he needs to do, etc.

So, was trying to get clarification on what adam was suppose to do,

I thought he was already in alcohol rehab. Saw it somewhere yesterday.

well they said i know yesterday that he was looking at a rehab, they first thought he had checked in, but yesterday, they said no, that adam was just checking out rehabs to find one that he would be comfortable with. so i was just curious;

if he was suppose to check in, then friday evening would be the 72 hours ending period, but to me, thats says to me that adam jones isnt really doing what he is suppose to do, and holding off on this issue as long as he could

that part i dont like, lilke it seems he still refuses to admit that he has a problem if he hasnt checked into a rehab, so thats why i was asking

thanks hostile, thats what i thought i heard on nfl network, at first they were saying he checked in, but then they on nfl network was saying, no he is just trying to find a rehab he would be comfortable

looks like to me, he is putting it off and not recognizing he has a problem,

to me that sends another signal to the commissioner that he still doesnt get it, and not following what goodell wants him to do, that means a longer suspension, which if adam was coming back, he needs to do what he is suppose to do, grown up

this is what hostile found;
Suspended Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones is reportedly considering entering an alcohol treatment center in the Dallas area.

Countering reports from another media outlet that Jones was already in rehab, ESPN cited a source Thursday in reporting Jones hasn?t decided yet whether he will go that route.

Meanwhile, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones reiterated he would consider welcoming Jones back to the team if the league were to reinstate him.

?If he does what?s asked of him to get back into the league, then he?s earned a look,? said Jerry Jones, who said Tuesday the league would require Adam Jones to complete alcohol treatment before it considered him for reinstatement

NOTE, like jerry jones said, if adam does whats asked of him to get back into the league, that the league would require adam to comlete alcohol treatment before he is reinstated, it seems adam isnt doing that, but only like deion sanders said, only the mandartory 2 to 3 days visit to AAA, alcohol anymonous,

that to me speaks volumes, if he isnt following directions to what the commissioner said, then i dont want him back, he is playing games, and doesnt want to admit he has a drinking problem.

Yesterday I saw he was looking into it. Today it said he had checked into an in-facility treatment center.

oh ok thanks low tech, i can live with that then, as long as adam gets help,

i dont want him coming back to the cowboys and getting into trouble again due to his alcohol problem, and costing the cowboys possibly one of our high draft picks next year

remember, the cowboys were or had in place the trade with tennessee for adam jones, if he got suspended by the nfl, even one game, that the titans would have to give the cowboys their 4th round pick

as you know, the commissioner goodell nixed that deal, and reduced the 4th round pick to a 5th round pick,

seems like to me, if adam comes back to the cowboys and gets in trouble again, commissioner would take away the cowboys 4th or 3rd round pick next year

we need to keep our 2nd, 3rd, two 4th round picks and our 2 5th round picks for sure

He could be having problems getting into one. Those places are expensive and can be really really expensive. Some will take you on payment while others have to have significant coinage up front. I'd cut the guy some slack until and if he wigs out again. He better be talking to the league office and anyone else required IF he much check in within so many hours which I'm not certain is absolute.
