Yup i am finally getting my Directv 2moro.........

is there a certain timetable to when i have 2 order it? or could i order it anytime?

And as 4 preseason games.....would they show the games somewhere on directv? or would they re-run it on NFL NETWORK?????

yup but i cant wait to finally get my directv and sunday ticket....Tired of watching games at my friends house and having them flip through every game...and end up missing portions of mine...

Also tired of going to the Bar..and having those ******** Giant fans screaming and hollering over every little play...i guess its a NY thing cuase jet fans there do the same...But its worst when your a cowboys fan and theres Giants in the area

You can order anytime, but I think there's a discount if you order it early. Not sure when that ends, but you can probably find out on the direct tv site.

Preseason games are NOT a part of Sunday ticket. Those are shown on NFL network and the regular networks.

I think you can buy it anytime. However, they usually have an "Earlybird Special" price if you order early. They also have a 4 month payment plan, but I think you have to order early enough to qualify... not sure how that works. Check www.directv.com

Preseason coverage isn't on Sunday Ticket.

The NFL Network provides some far from ideal preseason coverage (spotty coverage or re-runs at odd times).

The good news is that the regular season Sunday Ticket coverage is great. Enjoy!

No I don't go to bars. Let's say that I am not enamored with Grit Bars.

Plus I have cable with cable internet and I like my cable and cable internet.

I did get a dish from someone and installed it. Called to see how much it would cost to just get Sunday Ticket without getting the other channels. They would not let me do it unless I agreed to at least one year of their basic channel package.

So..no go.

Now the games they don't show in my area I catch on the net or net radio.

But i know it kills you sometimes...right now i have cable net and cable tv.....i recently got my tv canceled because I'm getting the dish 2moro....so ill be paying for the Dish and cable internet...but i guess its worth it

The Ticket becomes a way of life, after you've subscribed for a season. When Cowboys games arent on, Ill watch/surf 5 or 6 different games at a time. You can actually avoid commercials for 3 hours at a time if you really try. That's not a bad thing.

Some regional phone companies have teamed up with DirecTV to offer a discount package if you get phone, DSL, and cable through them. Pretty good deals. DSL isn't quite as fast as cable, but c'mon... at some point you just can't really tell the difference.

The package for Atlanta is something like... local & long distance telephone + DSL Ultra Internet + DirecTV Choice for $99 per month.

Honestly they could charge me $500 a year for it and I'd still pay for it...Thought I'd never tell them that.
