What questions would you liked asked. Elephant in room for me

'If the team are serious about re-signing Parsons and committing all that money too him' Why are they not considering a switch to a 3-4 scheme which most laymen believe is the right fit for him'

By the way in the UK, no questions would be 'off the table' at a press conference.

You sure no questions would be off the table?
That is easy to say, hard to do.

Ask the wrong question, and it could be sports reporter suicide. And not just with Jerry.

Football related, no questions should be off table.

Any reporter asking a contract question will get the same answer, we are working one it.
Put it in "air quotes". :muttley:

3-4 may be a good question, but they do not have the players to do so.
Parcells tried that, and IMO, he set the team back 8 to 10 years by doing so.

No, they should not be, but they also need to be with context.
You do not ask Jerry, when will he hire a real GM.
We know what the answer be, but you could structure your question, to cover this topic in another way.

"Jerry, you said you were 'All in' last offseason. You signed CeeDee Lamb less than two weeks before the start of the season and Dak Prescott days after the season began. Back in February, Stephen said the team would be 'selectively aggressive' this offseason. Micah Parsons remains unsigned for a contract extension. Do you foresee a repeat of not signing one of your key players just before or after this season begins?

Well ask them why they are not doing it.
How did he set them back? He drafted pro bowlers and a hall of fame edge

Or ask WHY does it take so long to get a deal done with you guys, is it on purpose? What do you all get out of doing this to these players.

We know in the end you will end up setting a record, so why not just do it and stop wasting time!!

WHEN WILL YOU get another DT, signing OSA isn't enough

"Jerry, Cowboys fans are yearning for the day their ownership starts putting an emphasis on building a championship roster and actually putting the effort into achieving that goal. Can you give us an update on your health?"

Well ask them why they are not doing it.

They did not have the players to do so at the time. Then he focused off getting those players in. It took 4 a while, as he ignored the offense, so it seemed. Then he quit.

So now Jerry was focused on finding a HC that ran the 3-4, enter Wade Phillips. They got better. But still lacked offense and some on defense.

Enter Jason Garrett, Jerry coach in training.
They brought in the spawn for Buddy, and he sucked as DC.
What did they do, oh, let's go back to the 4-3. But they focused on improving he offense more. In which fans underestimated Jason at first. As his first 2 years, he dumped the old worn out, under performing OL, and built a great OL. While the defense was neglected going back to the 4-3. Which was never really built that well.

So it took 8 to 10 years for them going form the 4-3 to the 3-4, back to the 4-3.
And it has been an issue ever since trying to build a top SB caliber defense.

This would be a great question. Do you think any reporter has the nerve to ask.
At leas two put it in a way ..... like ..... what you did at DT, will that be enough to improve the run defense, or do you feel you could do more there?

That hurts.

Nothing is ever off the table at the University of Kentucky. Go wildcats!

The OP would be the joke, not the thread. You reap what you so. Act like a clown, expect to be treated as one. Have a good week....camp is here, time to get serious.

Question...do you laugh at the haters, or do you listen to their constant whining, take it as constructive criticism and try to get better. If you listen to them, then...you suck as a GM, should fire yourself and hire a waterboy from the Eagles staff, he can do a better job than you!!!!! Oh, fire Stephen too. We dont want him, cut Dak and trade Parsons etc...
