QB: Quinn, Frye, Anderson
RB: Lewis, Droughns
FB: Terrelle Smith
WR: Edwards
WR: Jurevicius
TE: Winslow
LT: Thomas
LG: Steinbach
C: Fraley/Bentley?
RG: Coleman
RT: Shaffer

LE: Roye
NT: Washington
RE: McKinley
LB: Wimbley
LB: McGinest
LB: Davis
LB: Jackson
CB: Bodden
CB: Baxter
SS: Jones
FS: Poole

Not a bad roster. They probably have enough talent to not totally suck. I think the number one pick is more likely than one later than what we gave them.

They do have to play Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Baltimore twice. There's at least three or four losses there.

Isn't Winslow already going to be out all next year?

I hadn't heard that.

It would be unbelievable if we could get a top five pick from the Browns next season.

Hopefully, Quinn will start all year.

Not a bad roster but, i'm sure this year will be no different than the Browns of the past 5 years.

I don't know about "the soldier" but I'm pretty sure L. Bentley is out due to having another surgery on his knee.

WR: Edwards - old
WR: Jurevicius - oldest
TE: Winslow - no Witten

I can still see some problems with a new QB and a new (but awesome) OT in their first year. Just have to keep our fingers crossed and drink the Cleveland Cool Aid.

Bentley has been ruled out already for next year, and his career is probably over.

Jamal Lewis is fat and washed up. He's averaged 3.4 and 3.6 ypc the last two years playing behind a much better OL in Baltimore.

Winslow had microfracture surgery on his knee this offseason. He may not even be ready to start the season.

Joe Jurevicius is 32 years old and is hurt every single year. He hasn't started a 16 game season in his entire career.

The defense was 28th in the NFL in points allowed last year. Their starting nosetackle on the roster is 39 year old Ted Washington. Let me repeat that. 39 years old.

I think you're confused about Braylon Edwards. He's actually pretty young. He was a head-case...but talented. Sometimes head cases actually turn out to be decent WRs....coughowenscough...

Pitt and Bengals where average last year at best

Pitt has a rookie headcoach and the steelers have lost several players that help them get to the SB and win

That Division is not what it use to be

In todays NFL, I could see the Browns at 8-8....as I could any team in the parody NFL.

With that being said, they are clearly the fourth talented team in their division. You need to rank Pitt, Baltimore and Cincy as clearly better teams right now. plus if Brady gets playing time as a rookie then he will have a learning curve.

It should be at least a top 15 pick and a chance to be a very good pick if they struggle as expected.

As for Clev, I wouldn't be upset if I was a Browns fan. You get your future QB a year early and get to work with him for a year. If he turns out to be a good QB, then I can live with the trade no matter where their pick ends up next year.

Plus you can add in that Droughns isn't even on their roster any longer.

They have upgraded their roster the last 2 off seasons, but its hard to win in the NFL without a quality QB, plus playing Pitt, Baltimore and Cincy twice a year doesnt help the rebuilding process.

You think they'll pick after #22? Huh?

And you can look at every team save maybe the Raiders and say that they have a lot of talent. It's the NFL. Even the worst teams have some good players... But it doesn't mean they can't go 4-12.

Poorly put but he was the third pick in the first round in the 2005 draft with a total of 9 touchdowns in his three year career to date. Maybe he will get better but maybe not. I am a lot less tolerant of high first picks that don't astound. Maybe I should have said old news. On the positive side he does have three tackles in his 26 games.
