I never said Wade said he wouldn't be good at it. Wade is saying for what he could contribute offensively, it's not worth the risk for him to return kicks. I got that. And I'm saying it's worth the risk, IMO. Easily.

I guess I was just being picky about the wording when you said he downplayed Felix's ability to return kicks. I apologize.

if felix jones is supposed to be dangerous in the open field. then the kickoff sounds like the perfect situation. there is no reason to not play him when he's not the main focus for the offense.

No, he didn't return kicks last night. I took Wade's comment to Jerry differently than you did. I don't think he was downplaying Felix's value on returns, I just think he said you would get so much more value out of designing offensive plays around him. The implication was: if he gets injured returning kicks you lose a whole lot of value on offense.

Everyone would probable would attack me for this but, I think Dan would be great back there. Him and Pac would be deadly returning kicks.

It was really cool hearing from the HC that Felix was gonna get at least 10 touches per game, and finding out at the same time the owner did.
