Quincy Carter arrested

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Lavonya Quintelle "Quincy" Carter was arrested on Wednesday in Corpus Christi for two warrants out of Hidalgo County.

According to Sgt. Nathan Brandley of the Texas Department of Public Safety, Carter had warrants for charges of possession of marijuana and driving while intoxicated, but failed to appear in court.

Following his stint with the Dallas Cowboys from 2001 to 2003, Carter played with various amateur leagues until his arrest in 2009. He then went on a hiatus for several years before returning to the field to play for Corpus Christi Fury in February 2015.

How many times has this dude been arrested? I've lost count.

I know we are done talking about him around here and we are welcoming our potential new era with Dak and Zeke etc but just thought I'd share.

Also didn't realize he is still listed as a free agent? At least it says it on his wiki page. What's up with that?

Also didn't realize either that he was playing with a football team in Corpus Christi (my old stomping grounds).

I feel for the guy I really do. In the end he got to QB for one of the best (if not they best) sports team in history for a brief moment despite his fall from grace. He didnt just dream it he lived it even for a moment. Not many at all can say that. Rare.
