I am so glad we didn't take him.

The Brady Quinn saga is now officially over.

The rookie quarterback has agreed to terms on a five-year deal with the Cleveland Browns, FOXSports.com has learned.

The deal, which was agreed to Tuesday morning, has not yet been signed.
Quinn was on his way to Cleveland to join his teammates on Tuesday.
The No. 22 pick in this year's draft out of Notre Dame, Quinn had been working out in Tempe, Ariz. at Athletes Performance Institute, and last week said he was hoping his holdout would end soon. His hopes have now been answered

I'd like to see him play.

Really, we all knew this would get done sometime. I just hope they take the "we have to live through a season of pain approach"

I still think he's going to end up being a good NFL QB.

I don't see it... but to make it interesting I will take that Steak dinner you owe me (Bledsoe bet) and bet it that Quinn never sees one probowl without buying a ticket first...

He has a LOT of work to do andI just don't think teams can wait around that long anymore for a QB to OJT for 6 years which is what I think it will take for Quinn

I think he will as well -- but I think he's the kind of player that it will take a while for. He's a classic "needs to refine his mechanics and speed up his decision making type" - to me, that's the kind of guy who needs a ton of reps to play through it. Ideally, you let a guy like him sit for a year but I don't think the Browns are going to have that luxury - especially with Crenell's situation. Whenever he comes out of the tunnel fans shout "dead man walking."

Does he start the season, and if not, when? I want to see a classic oh and sixteen year from them. Then they can win 13 games for all I care, next year.

The gaurenteed money sounds consistent with where he was slotted (Spencer received $6MM gaurenteed). It looks like they compromised on the total value of the deal and the escalators. Seems fair for a first rnd QB pick.

I hope he signed soon enough to be considered for the starting QB by at least the midway point of the season.

I will just say this. I thought he was overated to be projected as a top 5 pick and when I saw him play I was never in awe in any way.

Not saying that he won't end up being a good NFL Qb and if we had not had Romo I would have been all for drafting him at our spot.

I'll take that bet. All I need is a picture of him watching the pro bowl on his TV. :D

One of his teammates might also give him a ticket to the pro bowl - oh wait, he plays for Cleveland. Nevermind.
